you won't need to take out your bins as often

Why? Does it shrink your garbage?

    • If you leave it there long enough. Most items shrink as they decay or biodegrade. Nothing to do with this product of course.

Noting this is a scented insecticide/pesticide, so most probably not suitable for your green/garden/compost bins.

      This is natural pesticide.

      So safe.

It works but I'd rather use the kill bin ones as you have too dropping more powder in.

      Every week.

Sorry, can you elaborate? I'm not an expert, but lots of things are natural, yet harmful. Aliens wouldn't be natural.

        • Aliens wouldn't be natural.

          Why not?

Yep. Mercury is natural. Snake venom is natural. Cyanide is natural. Wouldn't recommend exposing yourself to it though. Certainly not "Safe".

        • So are you saying aliens are harmful or not? Probably need to get this straight first.
          EDIT: @pizzaguy

      • This is natural pesticide.
        So safe.

I'm sorry but why are you linking "natural" and safety ?

Chlorine gas is a natural pesticide, and it sure as hell isn't safe in any way.

    • insecticide/pesticide not suitable for your green/garden bins.

Is this because of the impact it will have at the (garden items) refuse centre?

      • That's my logic - you don't want to effectively poison that sort of waste. Just like you wouldn't pour bleach to your backyard pond.

    • Yes. Not suitable for compost bins because you'll probably kill the worms & good bugs that are breaking down the food and turning it into compost

    Oos

    • The Citrus one is, but the Berry Blast is still in stock, although minimum of 2 required.

    Product dimensions ‎8.3 x 8.3 x 13 cm

    What ??! That's super tiny

    • +2

why do we care about the dimensions?
it clearly says 450g and each dose should be ~10g, so I guess its good for 45 trips to the bin.

  • Works well, sprinkle in the bottom of my kitchen bin to keep it fresh, an ozbargainer could make this last a year
