Wear this a lot for office days and it's fantastically comfortable once worn in. Would recommend!

      office days

      What's that?

      • +6

        Non-WFH days.

  • How's the sizing for these? Size up or true?

    • +5

I am size 8.5, and it was true for me.

    • I am a US 9 in sneakers and running shoes and had to size down to US 8 for these.

it's gotta be RM Williams for the chelseas, chinos and hi-vis look

Nice got tan burnish for $77.18 less 10% discount less $3 off $30 spend Amazon.

    $67.16 in total.

  • Got em, thanks OP

  • Any tips on how to polish the tan or mahogany colour?

  • Op has put 6 days left prices finish on the 24th, does anyone know if thats correct? Trying to figure out how long i have to figure out shoe size and colour as i’m not into dress fashion, what colour should i get to go with a white or black shirt and black pants? My current pair of dress shoes are black but not sure if i should get black again or go with a different colour.

    • Returning is easy.

Black. NEVER wear brown shoes with black pants, only bogans do that.

      • +3

NEVER wear brown shoes with black pants, only bogans do that.

Only bogans think that fashion is so formulaic

But feel free to send us a pic of yourself and let's compare who's less bogan looking…

        • -2

Knew that would bring the bogans out.

      • -1

You absolutely can, just need some fashion sense instead of just copying a random you heard on Instagram

        • -1

          Like I said …

    • If you wear black and white, get the black shoes again. Brown pairs better with blue. At this price, get both? Match colour with your belt and watch band (not as important)

    • +1

just some general advice since you're not into fashion

charcoal or navy pants are going to be more versatile than black
black dress shirts are generally best avoided unless you're a waiter

  • Tan US13 $117.77 …. US9 $87.08 …. need to get a smaller foot to get the deal ;)

    • +1

I am not seeing the $87 for US9. Shows up as $108 for me. :-(

      • Prices seems to be volatile :(

      • My feet stopped growing many years ago ;)

        • Price is $80 for size US13.

          • @jimojr: in black $80 …. I'm looking at tan, currently $117.66

Ordered 2x pairs during previous sale, and mine all but disintegrated within a year of part time office wear 🙃

    • Thanks for the comment.

      Instantly cancelled my order.

      • +3

        Instantly cancelled my order.

Based off a single anonymous opinion you read on the internet? Wow…

        • +6

It was a impulse purchase and yes, the 1 comment was enough for me to change my mind.

I've bought faux leather shoes in the past that looked good but eventually crumbled away in embarrassing fashion (while I was at my sister's wedding). Luckily I was able to duck out and bought real leather shoes.

          The comment gave me PTSD.

          • @bNiNja: I've got 6 years out of mine. Lots of walking to the office. Admittedly it wasn't these but hush puppy Business shoes nonetheless.

    • Mine is the opposite. I think I'm on the second year of occasional wear (twice a week).

    RM's poor cousin?

    • +7

Extremely poor cousin. Super disappointed in the reduction in quality over the last few years.

      • -1

Might be a poor cousin but at this price, you can buy 10-11 pairs for the price of an RM + all the shoe maintenance cream and resoling and still have new pairs every year for the next 10-11 years

        • +3

4 pairs maybe and doubt they would last longer than RMs

        • +3

Who wants 10 more poor cousins?

          • +4

@CharityCase: That’s a pair every year for the next ten years. You have new shoes every year compared to a well maintained RM

        • +2

False economy man. Not to mention it's shit for the environment and Australian jobs. There are plenty of 10-20 year old RM's in rotation. At least they can be repaired and resoled.

          Stop cheaping out on shoes.

    • obviously not going to be as good quality, but probably a smarter buy for people who don't intend to wear them very often

  • Thanks OP, see how these hold up

    • Normally wear 10.5s, ordered 10.5s and they're tight on length and width of foot. Disappointing, will return. Otherwise they were comfortable.

  • +1

Tan is at $125, damn it Jack

  • I would upgrade to Hanger Chelsea model. Better stitching.

  • +4

@Supercool mentioned the factory second Mongerel boots for a similar price on eBay in the last hush puppy deal posted. He was downvoted for some reason but I bought a pair (and now have a second pair on the way) and they are awesome. Well made, Australian made and a lot better quality than the hush puppies I’ve owned in the past.

The first pair I got had a small faint line on it that isn’t noticeable but I assume the reason it’s a second.

Anyway thought it was worth mentioning. Sizes come and go fairly frequently

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/233740184996

    • Damn, they only come in small sizes :(

      • Stock comes and goes. i bought a pair of tan in 11 and a pair of black 10.5 in the past few weeks.

        • I need US15 minimum ;)

    • Cheers for the link!

Out of curiosity did you find them true to size? I find it quite hit and miss with boots sometimes….

      • +1

Funny you ask. I just had my second pair arrive today (10.5). I'm normally a 10.5ish.

The 11's I got feel a tiny bit loose. The 10.5 feel a tiny tight on my little toe (but perfect length wise). I feel like they will stretch a bit with wear so going to stick with 10.5.

So I guess yeah pretty true to size.

Now to work out if i on sell my 11's and get a second pair of 10.5 or just keep a 10.5 and an 11

        • Thank you for the feedback.

  • +1

Also the Chelsea Hangar boot is on sale. It has a rounder toe if you prefer that style. Although slightly more expensive. Down from $199.

  • 6 months back picked a mahogany 10.5 US, not bad, but will prefer one size small if buying again. pity 10 US is out of stock

    • Would you go 9.5 US? I'm usually 10.5 US too but concern it may get loose once worn in. Thanks.

      • Not sure how comfy that will be
. I will be OK with a 10 I think as I have wide feet.

  • Showing $108 for black & mahogany in 10.5

  • No offer on 10.5 ,showing 100+ on 11

  • Can confirm, these are true to size (US sizing). Ordered yesterday morning and recd. by evening.

    • Mine was larger than usual, will my cashback be void if order return and replace?

      • Also, they have sent me extra wide ones
