i do so you can get it for me thanks

    • No $$ for that but I have 32" 4k + 2 x 24" 16:10 on each side 🤣

Love the aspect ratio. This seems like a decent price, only about $400 over what I paid for my QLED
I never want to go back to anything smaller.

  • I have the G95C from the previous deal, which is basically the same, just slightly more expensive with a built-in Samsung tv system.
I would say this puts my previous IPS monitors into shame. Super impressive colours.
Also, the anti-reflective coating is surprisingly superior. To my eyes, this is on the same level as Apple studio display.
The downside is one dead pixel…… Discovered it after all the setup and would not bother to deal with the Samsung customer service again. These are just too large and heavy to mess around with.

      $1697 at Officeworks

Well it's not tho, G95C on the officeworks website it says that it's a VA panel. The one in this deal is an OLED panel (have you ever experienced OLED?)

I am sorry but there is just no comparison between the two, I also prefer glossy display over matte since the colours seem way more vibrant.

      • My bad, I mean the LS49CG954SEXXY, which is just the 'oled g9'.
This one is LS49CG934SEXXY which is the exact same without the smart tv system and slightly less expensive.
        These name are confusing.

ahah yeah understandable! I was just thinking no way you think VA and OLED look the same.

Such a sexy beast the monitor, yet the model names are far from LS49CG954SEXXY/ LS49CG934SEXXY.

Wish I waited, so much better than my AW3423DWF!

There's also currently an AMEX offer for $100 credit back on a $500 purchase on the Samsung Store. Not sure if it's targeted, but it's available on my Amex Essentials card.

  • I got the smart model on this one, and accessed the service menu to bump up the 10% brightness to 1000 nits, which is spectacular and can’t be done on non Samsung units

    • BRO
I got the same model, would you mind posting a link to the tutorial on how to do this?
      Huge thanks.

  • $1,804.05 showing up on the Samsung store for partner rewards. Suppose can take a further 5% down for first purchase on the account too

    • How do we take 5% off?

Can some please elaborate steps to get this deal price or refer to steps in older posts if available?

Edit: what is monitor trade in and do we have to send old monitor?

      • If you order on Samsung’s AU site for the very first time, I believe you can get 5% off. (I know this applies for the corporate rewards store - not sure if it’s publicly available)

Unfortunately I don’t know much about monitor trade in. I had the same question in my mind (looking for elaboration) when I saw OP’s post too.

        • I think OP means the tv trade in option that shows up in cart, but that only gives 100 off so might be wrong

            • @Geoff8: Thanks mate.
Re old monitor, what if we don’t have old monitor at the time when they come to deliver new and pick old one? What happens then any idea?

  • Anyone got this monitor? How is this for office work?
How about the brightness, is it 250 nits which is low? or does it go higher?
