    What is the regular price?

    • Normally $17.99 I think.

  • not an expert!
this one seem to be better. it's $6 more but you can hook 4 devices

    • Guess it depends on if you want 25W or 20W ?

    • "Please don’t buy these! The internals are unknown and could be dangerous, its the same as buying a random charger from Aliexpress or eBay and likely worse then HeyMix." 🙄

I got "neg" because many say Amazon deals are much better on this post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/835890 and yet got "neg" again when I posted the Amazon deal, can't win. :(

      • It’s an unknown brand. I would rather go for your other deal. The. reviews even have a photo of the charger breaking apart, I’ve seen these exact models on ebay and aliexpress for a couple of bucks. These chargers cut corners which can risk your safety.

Yes, I posted the very well known brand and got negs for it even tho it has passed Australian / NZ electrical safety standard.

          • @Raguel: Those negs weren’t to do with the electrical safety, more of the output wattage per port.

            • -2

@JXXY1337: Do you think the unknown brand would let you the real voltage? They maybe advertise 35 watts but in real life maybe only 15 watts.

              • -1

@Raguel: Some may let you, but over what the components may be rated for. This can result in excess heat and lower lifespan it’s really only a matter of time until they fail. Commonly they will do they voltage just fine but may not be able to hold the current they are rated for

@JXXY1337: The person negged me for passing the electrical safety… https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/836803 He quoted "Pass Australia blah blah or pass heaven standard doesn't mean they are good quality battery inside. Don't just buy because price or the the casing. But the battery insidd"

              • -1

@Raguel: In the user's opinion, the power bank isn't a high quality product.

Australian standards aren't important to all users. For a power bank, I'd gladly take a well regarded overseas brands compared to a local cut price brand.

For a charger, I'd prefer quality and meeting Australian standards. However, I'd take a well regarded overseas brands over a underspecced 4 port charger or low quality product that does meet standards.

1 star reviews show a charger broken in half showing live metal exposed. - would be giving this one a miss.
