Not as good as the last deal from JB but still reasonable price.

Seems to be matching Ring's price.

Also JB are same price.

PriceHipster history hasn't been $329 at TGG since November 2022.

  • Great price. Another option, for $419, you can get the 3 stick-up cams with 3 solar panels, from Ring directly. I recently installed a Spotlight Cam Pro with solar panel in and definitely recommend it. I wish my doorbell had a solar panel so I don’t have to bother opening it and taking it inside to charge it.

Time to get Plug-In Adapter. I have one for mine and highly recommend it. Probably needs a complete charge every 6 months. I've got it running through the roof, I need to eventually do it properly and run it down the wall.

      • Why would it need a complete charge every 6 months? That's about how often you'd charge the battery without the plug in adapter isn't it?
I watched a couple videos of installation, and people install it with the wire running up/down the outside wall. it's so ugly.

@jallen89 i swap my doorbell battery with the spotlight cam battery that's charged with solar. No waiting around for the battery to charge.

That is what I have done, I need to fix it properly. But it works and it avoids monthly charging.

Depending on the settings you have will depend on the frequency of a full recharge. I have mine pretty sensitive so triggers a lot. Current battery is 90%, can't remember the last time I charged it. It was last year.

Before the hardwire, I was charging every month.

@geekcohen: Oic.. i plan on replacing my Doorbell 4 with the Doorbell Pro 2 eventually. Unbelievable that these don't have 4K minimum these days.
Hopefully by the time i replace it there's a 4K model.

  • Thanks; got these from Ring directly just now. $296 free shipping (10% discount) as I'm already a Ring Protect subscriber.
