Thanks, got some water. This shortage thing is supposed to last until Xmas or something.

  • Same price on the sparkling spring

  • Does this taste good?

  • I love how the word "anti-theft" is used to describe the bag. I feel very safe now that bag can only be completely taken rather than pickpocketed.

Its insane to me how much money people spend on plastic bottles with water in them.

    • yeah, there is the saying “bottled water companies don’t make water, they make bottles” …

it’s about 1 c litre out of the tap , think used to be $1 to fill 100L bathtub …need to check current price

      • When i see people at the supermarket buying bottled water im always so surprised, Australia has some of the cleanest water straight out of the tap and if you want it better you get a filter installed. The new studies showing how much microplastics people are ingesting from single use waterbottles makes it even worse, people are paying to consume plastic and water because they are fat and too lazy to fill up a cup.

        • In their defence, not all bottled water drinkers are fat or lazy.

Some may just be stupid or thirsty.

Others, like myself, may just be comfortable in their body’s ability to shit out microplastics.

          HTH…

          • @UncleRico: The occasional bottle of water while you are out and about and didn't bring something i can understand. But going to the supermarket or online to buy a slab weekly or regularly is dumb.
You can shit out a little micro plastic but the majority of it is in your blood supply and so far the only studies how to reduce it is via blood donation or plasma donation.

            • @bezerk: So I get the convenience of chilled water in a handy receptacle and the ability to regularly shit out a pound of fecal matter and microplastics, plus a great excuse to queue-jump at the plasma centre?

              You had me at hello…
