Love the 125 version was in my edc kit for a bit but swapped down to just using pockets again as opposed to belt pouch or bumbag

these are so worth it. I use them to remove stripped screws

Sorry to ask a silly question, but what do you actually use these for? Eg wouldn’t a spanner be more effective or less damaging on most applications?

    • +1

Gripping, pulling, twisting, yanking and tugging at shit.

Instructions unclear, penis is now mince meat.

Maybe next time keep your penis out of the shit.

i guess compared to a fixed spanner as opposed to a shifter maybe.

compared to a shifter id prefer these. more compact, good lock/hold on nuts and pipe/tubes, minimal if any damage since the teeth grip well.
1 press button to shift up and down is great imo. again idk if you already have a set of spanners then you prob dont need these.
i used to carry 1 on me all the time when i was out on sites / on site repair work - but this year im more in the office/workshop so just leave it there.
its also very well made (and why they can sell for such high rrp normally) - as a dull man, this actually makes me go dang, this is pretty well made. iunno.

If it hasn't got flat sides or is mangled, use this. Otherwise, just get the plain wrench version, which is also awesome (but isn't the subject of this deal).

    • I love rounding off screws when no-one is looking! This tool is great cause I can stick it straight back in my pocket and no one knows I tried to "fix" it with my half arse tool instead of getting the proper spanner

  • These are great. Have the 125mm. Very useful and handy.

  • Are these like the Knipex version of generic multigrips?

    • Yes. Knipex do these cobras, which are push button to adjust, and the alligators, which work a bit more like normal multigrips. Although slightly confusingly, the smallest 100mm cobras aren't push button.

  • Paid $32.05 for the 100mm cobra previously, good price at $29.99
