To be eligible for cashback via the Booking.com app, you must have the Booking.com app installed prior to tapping 'Shop Now' from the Cashrewards app.

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

Modifications or changes to your booking.
Car rentals, flights, non-accommodation bookings.
Use of any Booking.com refer-a-friend links, codes or any non-Cashrewards incentives (offers, links, newsletters, secret prices), unless stated as eligible on this site.
Travel that is not consumed.

Fraudulent transactions.

      Yep, seems to change for each accommodation. Some increase price with cash rewards, some dont. Some allow Booking Genius disocunt, some done. Need 3 devices these days to find best price

    I've heard that the prices are increased when going through the Cashrewards referral link, although when I made my last booking I didn't observe that when comparing.

    Also to consider, the current Qantas Hotels deal might end up being better value if you value Qantas points a bit higher.

    if it tracks, cashrewards has fallen so far from its peak. my ticketek track that always used to track basically instantly never tracks anymore

      I have booked 5 times recently via CR and Booking.com - cashback has tracked straight away

        yeah maybe this site is okay but many of the others I have used previously just dont track and claims are pointless. plus they jack up prices for booking.com, so most of the stuff basically ends up a couple percent better off effectively

    Thanks op.

    Booked some hotels via booking.com over last few days, clicked through Cashrewards, prices same price so rebooked and cancelled original bookings. Cash back tracked and email received within 5 mins.

    Please be cautious of scams when using booking.com.

    I'll leave it at that and not neg the deal, as last time I got cancelled because everyone's opinion was that the deal is from cashrewards so my neg was invalid (even though the deal literally involves you using booking.com, and you can't get the upsized cashback from this deal any other way).

    Great deal. Especially for genius rooms. Not so good if b.com already had 8% off, as you will lose that unless it's genius.
