First post please be gentle, hope I've done it right.

Found this while looking for a toothbrush deal, price looks decent and got free delivery via prime. At the time of posting this, a number of other iO brushes are on sale @ Amazon DE but this looks like the only one with free shipping.

From my research iO5 use old charger so don't need to worry about the EU plug.

Please let me know if deal is not great so I can cancel my order!

  I think these new ones have a different toothbrush head, and is not compatible with the old ones.
  As such, the new heads have a higher price per unit.

    Not sure that’s true.
    My kids have io3. I have io6. Both use same heads.

  I have the io3 which I think is more than adequate (no gimmicky LCD screen or anything) but this seems a great price. It’s a nice and quiet brush too, the motors on the io series are way less noisy than the old Oral-B models.
  As others have mentioned though, the toothbrush heads are very costly. You can get non-genuine ones off Temu etc but I’ve not yet tried them out.

  Have to say. Best toothbrush I’ve ever owned by a mile. Completely different sense of clean after using this. Despite cost of brush heads I can’t see I’ll ever switch.

    I agree. My partner wanted to get one after his dentist recommended them. I was sceptical, but it does genuinely seem to do a better job.

  Thanks, bought. Would have liked white colour but couldn't find one on sale. So I'd have to use an international adapter for this?
