  • Seems okay since everyone else gouges for shipping

Normally, not a bad deal, except grays outlet have a Panasonic headset (RP-TCA430) for $9 (+$4 shipping) at the moment.

    • Do u have a link to this?

        • That's a cheap headset. Not sure about the quality and support though. Panasonic does a variety of electrical devices and Grays sells just about everything you could imagine including clothing, kitchenware, bedding etc. Plantronics specialises in headsets and AAA Headsets does the same. Currently we only sell Sennheiser, Plantronics and Jabra as these are the headset brands we know we can trust and support.

Clearly seeing a cord there. How can this be cordless?

It means headset for a cordless phone. Some cordless phones have a 2.5mm jack for a hands free kit.

Thanks for clearing that up Iplau. You are completely correct it is a corded headset for a cordless phone. Sorry for the confusion siuol - maybe I should have been more careful with the title. The Plantronics box it comes in calls it a "Cordless Phone Headset" so I just went with that.

  • Or you could get one for ~$18. I assume warranty returns would be more difficult, though.

    • That's coming from the USA. What that means is no Australian warranty, it won't be approved for use in Australia and you won't get local support like we provide for all products we sell. This is why I say compare the price with other "Australian" sites, not international ones.

    • Thanks for that, just got one. Figured that at almost half the price, it'd be worth a shot. Can't imagine there'd be much to go wrong with a simple mic/speaker.

      • Hi Highon2str. Please post another comment when you have received the headset. I'm interested to know if it is in good condition and how long it takes to arrive. If you'd ordered one from us today you would have received it in Melbourne tomorrow! We have these headsets in stock and express air post them so the courier can deliver them to major centres around Australia by the next business day.
