When is cashback ineligible?

  • Using a discount code or voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
  • Champagne, Penfolds and non-alcoholic products are ineligible for cashback. (Sparkling wine & Non-alcoholic beer are eligible for cashback).
  • Purchases paid partially or in full with Everyday Rewards or WOW Rewards are ineligible for cashback.
  • Purchase of gift cards or use of gift cards for full or partial payment will result in your cashback being ineligible
  • Purchases made from members located in the Northern Territory location are ineligible for cashback.
  • If you return or cancel your order then you will no longer be eligible for cashback and you will see the cashback move to Declined in your account.

Important Notes

  • Most retailers calculate the cashback based on the purchase amount excluding taxes and delivery charges. So if your cashback is slightly lower than expected, this will likely be why.

    BWS's site seriously sucks. The amount of things that are "Find me Nearby" is staggering. Sometimes you can find them, but more often they are run-outs that keep showing for months/years. Anyone worked out a way to filter these out. So show only items actually in stock at the store you're looking at?

        I generally just give up and search on items I know I want. So not really browsing just buying what I know I'l

        Also can't filter for cartons of beer vs 4/6 packs.

      Worst still, my experience is that the price shown for a "Find Me Nearby" item will usually (always?) be the absolute lowest, and unobtainable since once you select a store which has it in stock the price will be higher. Very questionable tactics.

        Yes I noticed this this morning. 6 pack of something at $11 locally - find nearby. And for a change found it. Then the price changed to $20.

        In the end I gave up with this and just bought 2 cartons of booze that I like and were at a good price. Not worth the angst.

        OTOH BWS are seriously the best to buy C&C from. Generally ready in like 5 minutes and they don't start messaging you after 2 days telling you the order will be cancelled if you don't pickup soon (as is the case with 1st choice).

    How long does TopCashback take to track BWS? 1 of my last 3 orders with Shopback didn't track but I'd already picked it up.

    Browsing for some gin, I noticed if you go to bws via top cash back app to site, the price of gin I browsed was about $5 more than if I had done a google search onto bws site. It was reproducible so that turned me off purchasing even if the result meant about an overall of 10% savings once 20% cash back is returned. Seems dodgy.

    Does TopCashBack not have a section where it tracks your clicks for the cashback website(s) you've browsed?

    Either way, mine just tracked, took about half an hour.

    I keep getting this error for any store, even though it says all items available. Hate BWS website :(

    Pick Up is unavailable at BWS xxxx. Select a different store for pick up. Tried like 20 different stores near Brisbane CBD and different products in my cart?

    Tracked in less than an hour. I also got some money out of Top Cashback after my first few uses trialing them and it was quite a speedy and easy process. I'll definitely be using them again.
