but not sure if that one has an extra bowl, last number is different regarding model numbers

also not even sure it's a stainless steel bowl with the original listing, as it says ceramic coated, so unless they give you two different ones, I'd guess it's non stick not stainless steel

      /72 is the base model.
/73 is the base model with the extra stainless steel bowl Link to bowl

The ceramic coated is the non-stick one you normally get in the base model. Link here to product details

OP's link is sold out now, unable to add to cart.

Is this the same thing? It says comes with extra bowl.

These model numbers are mighty confusing

ETA. According to the reviews no stainless pot with the link I posted, not sure why the pictures say it has one.

        • I've just ordered one of the link you posted, as it does advertise the extra pot in the photos (i've taken screenshots)… If it doesnt come with it, i'll be taking it up with Amazon as its false advertising. I suppose even at $118 without the extra pot its still a decent deal.

Are these the Queensland coolers people keeping talking about?

  • Thanks OP, I grabbed one. Was looking for a slow cookery pressury high capacity kind of deal and this was brilliant timing. Thank you!

If I didn't just get the Instant Pot on the deal last week I'd be all over this.

Stainless steel pot inclusion is excellent.

Much better to cook in steel unless you really need the non-stick, since it does degrade under heat and eventually flake off into your food.

    • The second pot is extremely handy to have, so is the Instant Pot saucepan lid that's also available. I cook rice in my stainless pot and never have any sticking issues, stainless is great.

    • Not sure how true that is, but even if ingested it's supposedly very safe. I think Teflon or whatever, would mostly come off during cleaning and not cooking, as these cookers don't get anywhere near hot enough.

That said, I prefer stainless because you can more easily sear/brown meat.

      • Yeah I've heard that, that it's inert etc, but I just don't really believe it.

Given the way that things like cancer and other illnesses increasing over recent decades, whose cause is mostly unknown, I tend to just err on the side of trying to minimise ingestion of weird and relatively recent chemicals and inventions.

Fully cognisant of the fact that I ingest tonnes of hormones and microplastics and so on from the water alone, but I'll still minimise it where I can, and especially where I'm applying heat to things.

(I don't heat food in plastic either for instance)

Watch this, might just change your view on teflon.

    • Good movie, but PFOAS are mostly banned everywhere now, and I think that movie focused more on how that company were disposing of their waste.

      • More so along the lines of these companies cant be trusted and they dont care about your health.

  • (WASHINGTON, Dec. 14) — Today the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced it will fine Teflon maker DuPont $16.5 million for two decades' worth of covering up company studies that showed it was polluting drinking water and newborn babies with an indestructible chemical that causes cancer, birth defects and other serious health problems in animals. The chemical is in the blood of over 95 percent of Americans.

JANUARY 22, 2021 - Today DuPont, Chemours and Corteva announced a cost-sharing agreement worth $4 billion to settle lawsuits involving the historic use of the highly toxic “forever chemicals” known as PFAS.

  • I am just glad that it arrived today with the bonus stainelss steel bowl included as the ceramic one is of very poor quality and already scratched to the metal by the power power cable prong it seems.
