  • I think I'll stick with my amateur stylus for now.

  • might be ok if youre looking for and/or previously used one, but for me the plastic end-bit so that it actually works on current phones makes it a no-go… hence why mine is gathering dust in my draw.

  • +2

I can vouch for this pen, my friend has it, it is what you would use with an iPad for writing smoothly (unlike the cheapo rubbery styluses from China.
Pricewise… for an Australian seller, yes it's the cheapest. If you want to get it even cheaper, delivered from Netherlands (don't know how free postage is going to work or if it will arrive :P) is $28.93 from eBay

However a drawback from this pen is that the little tip at the pen (the plastic disc with the metal X in it that attaches to the weighted pen) can come off.
These cost anywhere from $6 to $10 (possibly shipping as well) to replace.

Just a warning for those who want to use this product as a business stylus (be prepared and get an extra tip)

A good deal, so + from me :)
p.s. OP, perhaps you could include an extra tip/sell them separately on your site?

    • I have this pen as well and I completely agree with you about the tip. Although I did find it for $31.40 including shipping on ebay from the US not the Netherlands, but i'm pretty sure this is the cheapest Aus stock.

    • Likewise, highly recommend this pen… those stupid sausage things are just rubbish in comparison

    • Good idea, we will look into stocking the tips I'm the near future

Thought this was a needle for turntable cartridges but way too big!

  • I got mine for 29.90 delivered (or 36.50 express post) from http://www.thestyluscompany.com/shop/jot-pro-68

It is a great stylus, it is the closest to a pen experience on my iPad I have found. It can be a bit 'clicky' on the screen so I do not use it for navigation or games but if you want something the write with, this is the best I have found.

  • Thanks for the positive comments guys!

  • Awesome stylus for iPads, I am very pleased with mine for annotating PDFs in Goodreader and making notes.

  • If the tip is plastic does it stratch the screen at all?? It's my only concern.

    • Nah, it won't. It's rounded (no sharp edges), quite smooth, it's a smooth transparent plastic disc that's in contact with your ipad screen.

If you like drawing on your iPad this stylus is very good. I've had one for a few months now & it's still working fine. My only issue with it is that it is prone to making multiple quick touches, and sometimes won't register at all, or it will register for the second half of the stroke. That being said this stylus is a lot more accurate & worth using than the other styluses on the market. The Wacom Bamboo is great as well, although you have to push down harder with that one - so it's more prone to requiring replacement tips.

    • Thanks for the feedback, mind me asking where you bought it from?

      • Both were purchased in Brisbane. I bought the Jot Pro for $50 from Next Byte (Adelaide St store) & the Wacom Bamboo for $33 from Mac1 (James St store). Both were NOW purchases so I paid retail. Both really do make drawing, sketching, painting heaps easier & a whole lot more accurate. You can do great art without them, but you can take it to another level with a good stylus. I recommend them both.

        • Thanks buddy!

        • I want to buy a stylus and maybe a case as well, got a 4th gen this afternoon but will 3rd gen compatible cases from your website suit the 4th with no issues?

        • Hi,

          4G iPod touch or iPhone?
