    I find this game mediocre, at best. In fact, it got quite repetitive and annoying and I gave up.

      It looks extremely similar to Farcry 5 which has exactly the same setup. It definitely gets repetitive. This game is also free on the PS Pass

        Every far cry entry since 3 has been basically the same concept in a different setting. I loved 3 and 4, played through 5 but it lost it's magic and I haven't even booted up 6.

      You've just described a lot of Ubisoft games. It's fun for the first few dozen hours but then they pad out the game with repetitive game play loops and filler for the sake of "world building". That's not even mentioning the micro transactions…

        Yes true but I did find some far cry's better than others. This one just seems to also have an odd feel to it that I don't like.

        I've finally started on The Witcher. For now, it seems quite engaging.

            @anonywhy: I started it for the first time last year and have played a grand total of about an hour. Just can’t get into it.
            Too much nothing going on.

      I loved the original but Far Cry 2 turned me off the franchise. Just wave after wave of spawning enemies. Felt like an absolute chore.

      Agree, it wasn't as engaging as the previous titles IMO. I stopped after a few hours of gameplay. I loved 4 & 5.

      I got it for free on the PC when they were giving it away and still haven't touched it lol…

      But yea to me Ubisoft games are all the same just re-skinned and I've stopped spending money on them since FC4.

      Wasted effort on this game… i was around 2/3 into campaign and a mission glitched out and couldn’t progress anymore in the game. Tried reinstalling but didn’t help. Didn’t bother after that with other games waiting in line 😂

    Great game, repetitive as hell though trying to do all the side missions.

    spent every weekend for a couple of months completing it.

    $15 is about the right price. The whole Farcry 'the protagonist becomes a psycho too' thing has worn so thin that no amount of 'consume with popcorn' silliness (or death metal chicken sidekicks) can make it interesting again like it was when we first got FC3.

    The tank with 'mechanic' gloves and you can go through whole game like a God. Yes, repetitive, yes, boring - but it must be done for a true Far Cry fan. Also don't forget rogue style DLC's!
