  • With maximum 450F / 232C - good luck for anyone who wants to make pizza with this one.
Otherwise a good deal for a small electric oven.

Considering most people just use a normal oven with a max temp of 200, why would this be any worse?

    • +10

That’s about 200 degrees hotter than my dominos cooks theirs at.

    • What Temp would you recommend?

    • +1

There are lots of fresh pizza recipies for that, despite all the pizza oven deals suggest one always needs 400+ degrees and open flame.

And there's a whole world of frozen, which would be the main use case for these.

I'm just curious about the heat distribution.

    • +1

Makes pizza pretty well compared to my regular oven. The heat is quite concentrated

      • How's heat distribution? In the pics (the one with the open cover, "for easy cleaning"), I see two long heaters across the device, which would normally crisp/burn things directly beneath them. But I guess it's been solved with a strong fan (?)

        • +3

There's 3 heaters actually not 2, and there are another 3 on top so its pretty good. The fan does spread it out well. I find the front of the oven gets crispier than the back, so if you want even crisp take the tray out and rotate it near the end of cooking. My partner enjoys her food less crispy than me though so works well for us.

I find this oven took a bit of getting used to compared to a standard air fryer, but is much more versatile.

          My favourites:

Frozen Pie - microwave 4 minutes, "bake" at 185c for 10 minutes, "air fry" at 205c for 4 minutes. SUPER crunch pastry after this

Pizza - Bake 10 minutes at 185c, air fry until desired level of crispy at max temp

That's the Big W store on MyDeal, so still Big W, but yes an option if you don't want to go the everyday extra route (although I get $9 delivery charges on MyDeal, whereas Big W direct has free delivery)

Nice one, this allows shipping to TAS and NT

  • Got one! Thanks

  • Why can't people cut the pizza in half and out it in the air fryer it's same thing

    • That's one peculiar concern.

      Yeah, why?

  • How easy is this to clean

    • +1

terrible to clean. I have one and its all black inside and really hard to clean.

  • +1

The bastards make you give a real phone number.

  • If she doesn't hit 600c I wouldn't touch it

  • From reviews on Amazon, it's more of a toaster on steroids rather than an air fryer.

  • I was in rush to buy it at work and paid $159
    .. should have i enter3d the code?
