Looks like an all-time low according to Camelx3.

$159.99 then a 32% coupon applied at checkout to bring it down to $108.79 for me.

Features:
30w
10,000mAh Battery up to 24 Hours Playback
IPX7 Rated
Bluetooth 5.0
No AUX

I currently own a Motion+ and Motion Boom Plus, so looking to round out the trio haha.

From what I read, it's pretty damn good Bluetooth Speaker for the price, and supposedly even better if you get 2x as a stereo pair.

Enjoy!

I got a Motion+ and Soundcore Boost. Anker speakers are extremely good for the price. My Soundcore Boost will vibrate the table when i play EDM. The amount of bass coming out of that small speaker is incredible.

  • Why would you need 2x as a stereo pair? The picture looks like it has stereo already?

Look I'm not exactly a pro in this field by any means, and you are 100% correct, it is already a stereo speaker, and totally optional to get 2x for an enhanced stereo experience, but I believe it has something to do with the narrow soundstage.

"The Anker Motion Boom has a passable soundstage. It can play stereo content without downmixing it to mono, which means you'll hear a clear separation between the left and right channels according to how your audio has been mixed. However, as with most boombox-style speakers, it has poor directivity, so your audio doesn't sound consistent from all angles."

And Ive totally been watching some Alan Ross Reviews and he raves on about having 2x in Stereo which greatly improves the performance, and beats out the Motion Boom Plus.

      • Do you have to do something special, so it treats each device as separate L and R channels?

        • Sorry for the late reply.

Nothing out of the ordinary mate, just follow the instruction manual, there is a TWS button that you have to press on both units. Once it's done it every time I turn them both on it automatically goes into TWS mode. It's actually really good, tested it out with a Stereo test track on Spotify, and it's worked flawlessly so far. Even with what I thought was going to be too much Bluetooth lag for videos (170ms), has not been an issue for my brain haha. Highly recommend.

Great fist post and great deal, was looking for while to replace my beloved Denon DSB-250BT whos battery is on life support after 7 years of solid use :(

    Jumped on this.

FYI apparently from research Oluv's EQ settings are the way to go to get the best out of this thing. See https://imgbb.com/WnnvYKx

  • Soundcore Boom 2 should drop pretty soon.

  • The Motion Boom is now available at Soundcore AU website for $89.99 with free shipping. That's a cracker deal.
