Receive it and it works 2 days so positive review . Always review the critical reviews b4 deciding .
    Amazon reviews can be tricky.

  • I see many people complaining that the 660 is too tight. No good for a big melonhead like me.

    • Not sure how these are constructed, but if the headband is steel they're very easy to bend to suit.

  • I think he meant Officeworks reviews are poor. Still they cheap and might do the job till the next cheap ones come up

  • should i sell my xm4 and get these?

Got 2x Tune 760NC for $98 total in a HN (sorry) deal a little while back. Got to say I was pleasantly surprised. There's no way I'd pay $199 for these, but sub $80 is reasonable and $49 was a steal.

I've never used NC of any kind, so it was kind of like magic when I first tried it. Apparently they aren't strong enough to cope with really loud environments like a plane, I'm yet to try this. But otherwise they work well, are nice and comfy and sound decent enough. They won't replace my Grado's or AKG's, but they're for different things.

Now for the bad: I seem to have BT issues when I first turn them on. They connect to my android phone quick enough, but no media connectivity. I have to go into BT settings and toggle media off and back on to fix it. But I am running an old Poco X3 Pro with outdated MIUI 12.5 (Android 11) so I'll give benefit of the doubt that an update might fix this (rooting was clunky and Google Pay NFC has been tricky to keep working, hence my reluctance to fix what ain't broke).

ON EAR headphones, not over ear. JBL Live are over ear, and are $220ish

660 are on, 760 are over.

I have the JBL 520BT and really like the multi point connection. I listen to music on my PC or watch videos on Youtube and when I get a call on the mobile (including on apps such as MS Teams) the headset switches to it without having to press any button. When it's done it switches back to my PC.

  • Would something like this work on an Xbox series, including the mic? Or does it need to be a dedicated Xbox gaming headset?

Cheers op. Just picked my click and collect up!

    • Which one?

      • 760nc

        • How are they? Thinking of the same ones

          • +1

@Magicmagic: I only had a brief play with them before starting work.

Had to tweak the eq slightly but I was quite happy with the sound quality, it had pretty decent bass. Didnt get a chance to test out the ANC or call quality

In my opinion I found them worth the $65.

            • @Peelaw: How do you tweak the eq?

              • @Mahogany Granger: I dont think the JBL app connects to the 760 (correct me if I'm wrong) so it was just in my phones audio settings. Where these are located will depend on your phone. Just google how to change your EQ for your phone type and you should find them.

I was in a rush in the morning so I just used these eq settings posted in this reddit comment.

        • How do you find them so far?

    • Just wondering whose Op?

      • +2

Op is Original Poster. So in this instance its the user Raguel

      • +1

OP is internet slang/shorthand for the Original Poster of the deal (or whatever post more generally)

      • +1

        It definitely means OzBargain Pal

The Jbl 710 is still $48 at Officeworks.

  • Does it have to be used wirelessly? My pc Bluetooth sucks

  • Any feedback on the ANC on the 760? I personally tried the ANC the 660 (gift to family member) but I could hardly tell it was doing anything. Most of the noise reduction was through isolation from the ear pads.

    JBL 760 or soundcore q35?

  • +2

Got 760NC today. Quick test - they feel comfortable and not too heavy.

    Havent tested ANC yet.

Sound is fine, good, though not outstanding or mind blowing.

Max volume definitely isnt too high, so not for people that love the volume really high.

I have Jabra Elite 3, and the soundstage and max volume on those is significantly high on those compared to 760NC.

For the price def worth it, considering the long claimed battery life, the higher usual retail price, ANC, over the ear design and the JBL brand.

What’s the difference between 660 and 770? 660 seems to have better battery life

    • +1

Reviews seem better on 660. Ended getting one from Amazon. Thanks OP

    • +1

Biggest difference is comfort. 660 is on ear, vs 760/770 are over the ear.

      • Ah dang! I didn’t notice that. I cancelled it. I hate on ear headphones.

Looks like a QC45 knock off
