    • ripper!

    • I'm not sure why the 14400f wasn't popular.. might be due to not much gain over 12400f. The 600k/f series is where all the gains were made over 12th gen.

    • Does the case come with fans?

      • Yep, 6 PWM preinstalled

  • which CPU would be the better one If I want to do some video editing as well ?

My 7500F can go 1ghz faster than that intel (but by default it'll boost to 5-5.2ghz), you'd also be getting ddr5 5200mhz ram but hard to tell if that'd make a difference encoding wise if timings matter, saving the project would be faster tho.

Would there even be a noticeable difference for just video editing?

      • +1

Userbenchmark is ran by a notorious AMD-hating schizo, there's nothing worth gleaming from that site, even for Intel vs Intel comparison (they bent over backward changing the ranking algorithm to make AMD CPU looks bad and that led to hilarious results where Intel's own processor lost to a lower end previous generation model).

        @Miksta https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-5-7600-non-x/25… - 12400F is ~80% of a 7600. 7500F is an OEM only 7600 with no iGPU.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the 12400F build. The CPU itself is about on par with a 5600 for gaming performance, and a bit better in productivity/synthetic, so you're losing a whole generation of performance to save $100. On top of that low end LGA1700 + DDR5 is a notoriously terrible combo, especially for 12th gen/Alder Lake, where even high end DDR5 barely outperforms high end DDR4, and low end DDR5 boards lack the trace quality to run DDR5 at higher speed. AM5 also has an upgrade path for at least 1 more CPU generation, and while you can get a cheap 13600K/14600K/etc.. in the future, I'm not confident the cheap H610 board can handle it.

The Intel build for $1188 is a bargain

    • Was posted at $1388 and corrected due to pricing error. $1388 is correct so has been changed back.

      • +3

Doh! Got me all excited for $1188.

      • +1

I got one at check out for 1188….

      • I thought it was going to be limited to the first few purchases the price seemed too good for a reason haha

  • Video editing I think would be better on i7 or r7, more cores and less graphics card is best (unless cuda workload)

  • @luketechfast Any more details on the Leaper Maxx ATX RGB case? pictures? manual? just want to see what features it has.

  • Love the Intel build. Almost exactly what I'm after. Just wish it had wifi MOBO!

    • Cheap enough to install wifi yourself.

      • Is the build DDR4 or 5?

      • If I have a PCIe wifi adapter in my current PC, will I be able to install it in the Intel build? Or is the graphics card going to block all the pci ports, meaning I would need to also buy a USB wifi adapter?

        • @luketechfast

        • Both boards only have 2 slots between the GPU slot and the additional device slot so while it might fit, I definitely wouldn't say it will fit.

    • I know you are after the Intel build but the upgrade path for the amd does have a b650 with wifi fr a decent price.
Honestly with the wifi and RAM upgrade the PC build is good value

      • You're right! I hadn't spotted the upgrade option, simply because I was lazer focused on the Intel build at $1188! Thanks.

Will there be an option for Paypal Pay in 4?

    • no

  • +1

    the PRCE has changed….!!!!!

    • +2

Yeah $1188 was a lot more tempting.

  • Hi @luketechfast do you have any mob number to contact? I have question regarding payment and I tried to send an enquiry on your website however got no response. Thanks

    • We don't but I can escalate the email response now if you can message me or provide some way to look it up?

  • @luketechfast,
You keep listing "RTX 4070 Ti Super Gaming PCs: i7-14700F: $2198" in the Other deals: section but it's been sold out for a while. Will it become available again any time soon?
Would also consider an i9 + 4070ti. Thanks.

    • +2

Thanks for the catch - I've updated to reflect our R7-7800X3D deal. I'll look into i9 version.

  • What would be the brand and model of the motherboard if I upgrade to AMD B650 [M-ATX] Wi-Fi Motherboard ($89.00)?

    • MSI B650M Gaming WiFi or Asus Prime B650M-A

  • Still waiting for the itx build with rtx 4060 I ordered on 28 March. Response from sales “The specialist ITX boards for these PCs are still on their way to us - we are hopeful that they'll be arriving this week and they'll be prioritised for build as soon as they arrive, but the timeline means production will likely slip into next. This may mean that we'll be outside our original 5-10 business day estimate for these ones, but our hands are tied regrettably, as there are no other ITX options available to us to deliver this type of deal to you. Thank you for your patience”

    • +1

I'm guessing that they are pre selling a lot of these builds before they order the parts. A good business model but sometimes not so for the customer timewise but ultimately a good price with a wait

      • Yeah, wait is a bit too much for me.
Even I don't need it in a hurry, it makes me reconsider making changes, etc.

  • +1

keen on smaller case like micro atx or itx please

  • How many HDMI or display ports are there by the way?
Just want to check before i purchase

    • usually 2, with 2 dp

but with these new gen cards there might be usb c at the back

  • @luketechfast,
im thinking of getting AMD Ryzen 5 7500F | RTX 4070 Super Gaming PC, but im not sure if its worth upgrading to 750W 80+ gold PSU or not, as u say on ur website that u stress test the PSUs before hand. Does anyone have advice regarding this as this would be my first PC

    • +1

If you've got the extra budget to allow it than it's always worth the upgrade for PSU, it's the life support of your PC so you want it to be solid

    • The power efficiency difference is worth it. I won't buy anything less than gold. Currently rocking MSI 850w gold myself.

  • +3

Any budget itx deals coming back? Ty

  • Are there 4 HDMI/Display ports all up?

    • Yep off the GPU

  • +1

a budget ITX w/ RTX 4070 Super please

  • Is there any way I can request to have it be in an matx case, matx mobo in atx cases don't ever look good

    • Email [email protected] and request the Leaper Cruise - it's the case in this deal - that's the only MATX case suitable for this build we carry

  • This is great, but I think I'll stick with my 2070 for several more years :)

  • +1

Is there anyway i can request to get a motherboard which can connect to my wifi but is cheaper than the AMD B650 [M-ATX] Wi-Fi Motherboard??
    Thanks @luketechfast!!!

  • Hi @luketechfast,
It says on your website that the motherboard has atleast one slot for SSDs, so would it be possible to get a motherboard with two slots? I would like to have two SSDs, one TB for games, and another SSD of 2-4 GBs for storing photos and videos.

  • +1

Can I request the i5 deal with a motherboard with WIFI and DDR5 32G memory?

  • Can Gigabyte H610M H V2 support DDR5?

    • Yep, there is a DDR5 variant

  • Hi @luketechfast,

Got some questions about this build which I emailed you guys, could you please help looking into that for me?

    Thanks!
