  • Thanks. This looks like a great deal.

I swear by these. I own two and have bought a few for family.
Every time they go on-sale I'm probably going to buy another one.
The versatility of the 100w ports and also have AC makes it great for Desks.
Prompted me to replace all my USB C cables with 100w
Thanks for sharing this deal! will definitely be buying.

Same here, I've been using the 65W Version.

Only negative is the lack of removal power cable/insulated power plug pins.

      • +4

I thought insulated pins are required for such products sold in Australia

        • +1

They are under Australian Standards AS/NZS3112:2000

      • How is insulated pins a negative?

        • Lack of insulated power plug pins*

          • @RichardL: Those insulated pins are actually a requirement for them to be sold in Australia. Doesn't seem to stop it happening though. Also our earth pins have to be longer than the other 2 pins to meet standards.

    • Same already have two. Might buy another
      Edit: Bought

    • I have the 65w version too, good travel charging solution.

  • sorry to ask, I see so many charger deals and people talk about fires and reliability…

is this brand up there with Belkin/ugreen/anker in terms of safety?

    • You can also check previous deals

    • +3

It is good brand, but it all depends on that product in the end.
You can see videos of this guy reviewing chargers and you will realize that all these companies have some good and some dud products.
      https://www.youtube.com/@AllThingsOnePlace/videos
But overall these brands are better than other generic Chinese brands.

    • IMO, the main downside to this deal would be the Chinese plug(upside down compared to an AU plug) that doesn't have insulated pins.

  • +2

I have bought one before and it is generally reliable and sturdy.
However the power load drawn from certain power sockets from this 100W version have tripped the safety switches at my work.

  • This one also 100 watts but only 4 ports $45 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/839985

  • Thanks op 😊 Had to pay $3 postage.

    Ps don’t forget Westpac 2%!

  • +2

Thanks OP, bought another one. I have half a dozen GAN chargers lying around, this is by far my favourite.

  • +2

    Don’t need it, don’t need it, don’t need it….><

    • +1

That’s not true and you know it! Oos soon 🤭

  • Looks like a nice charger. Consider the 45w 4 porter from Anker if you don't need power plugs and the smallest possible charger though.

  • Excellent, thanks OP

  • hmmm this or the Cygnett PowerMaxx 100W GaN charger https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/839724

  • Thanks OP! Got one even though there is no need for me ;)

  • No longer discounted? Right after I logged in :(

    • I was at the checkout page when the price changed.

    • Nearly 170 sold in 2.5hr. They thought thats enough discount for the day, i guess.

  • ozbargained!

  • +2

    Sat on the fence, bugger!

  • why is it so big?
its not a power bank just a charger

    • +1

It has two standard outlets on it, so it's a plug in USB thing and a standard double adapter. And looks like it has a unique wall plug where the cable goes up to your desk instead of pointing down or out or sideways.

      • thank you - i didnt realise the wall plug.
I thought the photo was a UK plug

  • I have one of these and always take it with me on trips. If I had to point out a downside, it's that it gets quite hot when there's more than one device charging.

  • +1

Mine semi-died after a year. The ports on one side (symmetrically) ceased working, leaving only one usb-c and one usb-a port working.

    • Same here although with the 65w model instead! Just stopped working while on holidays annoyingly. Apparently it's more of an issue with the 65w ones compared with the 100W.

  • I initially purchased 4 ports charger by mistake and later realised and purchased 6 port as well.

Do let me know if anyone wants to pickup 4 port charger for this ozb listed price from Melbourne. It will save me from the hassle of returns as well.

    • +1

I also bought 2(but both 6 port) as the model number were different CCGAN100-1ACC and CCGAN100-2ACC. I asked to cancel the first order.
But Baseus replied that both are same(typo) and my orders are for same product; and they cannot cancel as it us shipped.
So if anyone wants charger at original price near Sydney - Baulkham hills, Paramatta, please message me.

      • I requested item to be cancelled within 2 minutes after ordering. But still the seller generated postage label and tells item is shipped and hence it can't be cancelled.

Contacted eBay and they are like they can't cancel the order and need to ask seller to cancel. They also mentioned I need to pay return postage if I am returning the item.

Such a pathetic seller and platform.

      • Even I got the 6 port version delivered while the post mentions it as 4 port. So i guess will keep that too as a backup instead of returning by paying the postage myself.

  • Does it re-handshake when you plug in another PD device?

    • Interesting question. What made you ask that? If they did, that means they're clever enough I suppose.

      • Many of these GAN chargers seem to stop power for a split second or so while it renegotiates any changed power flow requirements with the newly plugged in device. This is usually not an issue for most of us but there were a few people who used these things for devices like PI systems so the split second power stop effectively resets their ‘computer’.

      • I have the 65w version and it does re-handshake, it usually mean the charger can’t charge both fast charging enabled devices at full power which is expected and ok to me. But I wonder why it still need to do this when first device only consumes say 10w then plug in another 10w device

  • +1

Dammit, this is a charger I want now.

    • You can still get it for AU71.99 after applying the code (AU$18 less) but it is still a lot more than the $57.59 price. Still tempting to get though.

  • Has anyone come across a device like this which actually has the proper Australian plug?

  • +1

I will be waiting for Anker version of this wall plug charger! I have both Baseus and Anker products but always feel that Anker is a tad better in terms of quality :)

  • I had one of these for about a year when it mysteriously just stopped working. It was good while it lasted though!

  • I wonder what this ones like: Limited-time deal: HEYMIX 100W USB-C GaN Charger, USB C Fast Charging Station, Travel USBC Powerboard with 2 Outlets, USB-C Travel Wall Charger with EU/UK/US/AU Adapters: https://amzn.asia/d/dGDOSFi
