The Return of The Jedi design, with the green blade.

Would anyone here realistically buy one of these for the RRP of $499? Likely not.
But Force FX Lightsabers do seem to get some traction here even at $300+, so $199 is pretty good relative to that.

This pushed me into finally getting one for myself, after years of talking myself out of getting one of these lightsabers.
As a classic Star Wars fan, the only one I would want more than this would be Vader's Lightsaber.

      Oh man the list is endless. A few examples:
      * Cut and toast bread in one action
      * Cauterize small wounds, don't need a doctor
      * Welding
      * Night light
      * Bug zapper
      * Light signal - think airport runways or roadside breath testing
      * Defeating the Empire
      * Pruning

      Plenty more I've forgotten.

      It was unavailable for delivery on Zing when I first posted the deal (I did check), and also showing as unavailable when I checked just now.
      Maybe a very limited window where they did have availability for delivery?

      That seems to be exactly what this one is for. It actually has an impact sounds effect and blanks out a section when you got other objects with it. Check it out on YouTube.

      Yeah you can hit with it fine, it's pretty solid but just use common sense - no full send hits or anything. It's a solid plastic (PVC) blade with a string of LEDs inside, full contact would likely crack the plastic, crack the connection in to the mount or kill an LED or two.

      You can get cheap "stunt sabers" on Aliexpress that are more robust and meant for that sort of thing.

    23/04/2024 update:
    Looks like there may have been a partial restock, or stock found and added to the system?

    When I last checked just before last weekend, I seem to vaguely recall the nearest stores with stock being >200km away from Melbourne.

    Today it's showing at least 5 stores within 100km of Melbourne with stock.

    No idea what it looks like in other states.
