New Zen 4 8845HS with higher wattage, faster clocks and upgraded AI NPU compared to the 7000 series
can be upgraded to 1 TB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 TLC for extra $69

I was considering this or the Intel Ultra version, this one seems to have better value, in some CPU tests 8845HS actually beats Ultra7 155h
only 16g ram available, but this one got a gpu with RTX 3050 6g, so it won't share the 16ram with CPU, and if you're not doing any video editing or playing aaa games, 16g ram would be more than enough for work and everyday use.

3050 maybe be a little obsolete, but it's nice to have and still better than any current integrated gpu.
Overall, this laptop seems to be a really good allrounder, while not being very expensive

      • This comment is satire, right?

  • I've gotten to use to Touch ;-)

  • how will games behave on a 14.5" 3k screen?
Anyone own a Yoga and can tell us how good to run light gaming on this thing?
Or should get 16" Legion instead?

    • Do yourself a favor and just buy the Legion for gaming

    • Depends on what you mean by light gaming. If you mean rocket league or that battle royale game named after cutlery, it’ll do just fine.

But if you mean a casual 1 hour of cyberpunk with full path tracing, it’s still not gonna go very well.

      • Yeah I m after 1-2 hrs of Cyberpunk, don't mind in med/low settings, for me is more the gaming experience than the 'visual' feel.

        • I would really just go for the legion in that case.

        • Wow cyperbunk is light gaming?
I thought light gaming meant things like solitaire, minesweeper, maybe pinball…

  • Any idea when will we get 32gigs ryzen ultrabooks??

  • Seems like a good laptop, but no fingerprint (really convenient) and not the best keyboard layout: short up and down arrows, no pg/pd and home/end.
