this pram will be retired from the Redsbaby range.

    Why?

    What's wrong with it?

    • -1

It's been on the force for 29 years, it just has one more case to solve

        Oh

    • Hi JV,

Absolutely nothing wrong with it, it's an amazing pram, but as it's been in our range since 2017, it's now time for it to retire.

it's now time for it to retire.

        why though?

Maybe to discourage people from buying old ones of Marketplace.

Let’s be honest, these are partially a fashion item.

“No significant other, I can’t buy that second hand pram off Marketplace, it’s last years model not the one I saw on Instagram. What would the other parents at the park think if I turned up pushing that!”.

  • I have the Metro5, paid $650 off marketplace for one. Really rate the Redsbaby prams. 20% off is a great deal.

  • @redsbaby any discounts on the Skip²?

    • No sorry but if if you visit one of our demo days or expos, there is an exclusive gift with purchase available.

there is an exclusive gift with purchase available.

        What is the gift?

        • -1

Our events team will be able to go through this with you at a demo day or expo.

          • @redsbaby: People might want to know beforehand as it may be a dealbreaker as to whether it is worth going or not…

If it is something they deem useless to them, then they would be basically paying full price.

      • The gift is usually a rain cover, UV cover, and an utterly useless drink holder that doesn't actually stay attached to the skip2 pram. "worth $99". Disappointing that redsbaby usually charges money for that bottle holder. The pram is fine though!

    one of Australia's favourite prams.

      • Any baby in that Kmart pram should be reported to docs. JV your such a troll

        • Did you read the reviews?

      • Ooh I absolutely hate that pram. We were gifted it by an old neighbour as a just in case pram, and it’s just not comfortable. Handlebars are too low (and I’m only 5’4), the sun shade barely provides any shade and blows up in the wind, way too close to the ground with no protection, and you just can’t steer it with one hand.
As an absolute last minute emergency pram, it’ll work short term, but definitely not in any other capacity

        • and it’s just not comfortable.

Maybe you need a larger size ?

  • Will this fit in overhead locker on planes?

    • +1

No sorry it would have to be checked in. Our SKIP² can fit into an overhead locker of a plane though.

    • What I find when travelling is some airlines can be quite strict / uninformed.
Since Babyzen Yoyo is the most famous one, the conversation at the airport usually goes like:
      1. can that go in the overhead locker? Yes
      2. Is it a "yoyo"? No
      3. I'm not sure if that one will fit in our airplanes, you may be forced to check in at the gate to cargo.

I have seen some instances on my travel where people were forced to just check it in at the gate if it wasn't a Yoyo.

Not saying the SKIP2 is a bad choice, but just sharing my travel experiences and overhearing conversations at the airport. haha

      • This is spot on lol. We have a different travel stroller that folds smaller than the yoyo but some airlines make us check it still 💀

      • I feel like these rams should come with a cabin approved stamp somewhere on them to inform the airline staff

  • Good timing, got a bub due in August.

  • Shame there is no option for all black

    • Sorry the Black sold out early on.

  • When is the promotion ended?
