    PSA: as long as system is not “OPT IN”-based redemption for these kind of deals, your chances of missing out may be high as OP stated, as it’s first come first serve and if you’re one of them you’ll be at the mercy of GYB to hopefully manually award the cashback.
    Me personally, I’m taking the backseat until their system is changed to OPT IN-based redemption to avoid headache. It’s not even 10% 🤣

        Yet ppl still BUY and hence that’s why they don’t see the importance of implementing the proper system. The only way they feel the urgency to implement it is if the collective (meaning partly largely the OzB fam) boycott this crap.

    Basically, even if your purchase counted for the challenge but tracked later, it wouldn't qualify if the limited spots filled up before you clicked through. That's why your challenge says "COMPLETED WITHOUT REWARD.

    Shopback BS excuse. Take a risk

    @gotyourback When there are less than 100 rewards left, some members recently in similar deals have missed out on the bonus due to the lag. Your system isn't updating instantly.

    Will you still honour the bonus when it shows rewards are available at the time of purchase? Thanks

      Hey @trixieb, Just a heads up about ShopBack challenges: they track purchases by the date you buy something, not when the Cashback is confirmed (which can take time!).

      So, if you make a purchase during a challenge but the Cashback tracks later, you'll still qualify as long as spots were still available.

      Please be informed that, the challenge bonus is running in real-time and it is based on a first come first serve basis if your order was tracked after the challenge has been fully redeemed then you will not qualify for the bonus.

        As you are probably aware based on previous similar deals, the real-time tracking doesn't appear to be accurate when there are less than 100 rewards left.

        Some members bought the gift cards previously as rewards were shown to be available but weren't in actual real-time so they didn't get the bonus.

        Perhaps you can raise this issue with your team to improve the system. Hence I've suggested to take a screenshot of the rewards remaining in case the bonus is rejected. I hope you will honour the bonus if this happens in this offer so members can feel confident to take up the offer

          @noelhoi Less people participated in this offer and there were 60 rewards left when offer ended.

          I think new GYB started in April on OzB and original GYB left around mid March.

          ShopBack have reduced staff and this seems to coincide with the change in the person operating GYB's account.

      Do you mean you don't know how much was the original amount and you want to find out?

      If not, Bunnings GC gets used completely buy purchasing additional physical GCs to make up the change. eg. Using $50 GC to make a $10 purchase, you need to buy 2x$20 physical GC.

        Tracked and got the $10 bonus. The random offer was a lousy 10cents (as expected).
