  • Thanks! I use the full size one and was waiting for a deal on the mini.

Can this be paired with 3 devices like the full size one?

    • +3

Yes it can, it has 3 buttons that you can press and program to bluetooth to 3 seperate devices.

    • +3

Yes it can. Just bear in mind that it is bluetooth and can use a Bolt connector but is not included.

      • +1

That is so ridiculous. And they're not compatible with the older Unifying dongles too, apparently.

        • They are moving away from the older dongle.

          • +1

@Ifndefx: That doesn't excuse them for not including the new Bolt receiver. If anything, they should have included that!

            • @Munki: Yeah…Call my cynical but for a high end premium keyboard, it just seems like another way to shaft their customers. The bolt dongle is another $25..

            • +1

@Munki: Agreed. Took me ages to find a shop selling them and bought one since my work laptop had restrictions on Bluetooth and needed a dongle.

Little did I realise that my subsequent purchases of a MX Master 3S and also the K855 would both include the Bolt dongle!

            • @Munki: yeah agreed.

      • Does the bolt connector make it a 2.4ghz keyboard?

    • Yes

    • +1

Sounds like someone really wants one pink keyboard to bring a little colour to his three biege computers…

  • -3

I rather buy HP 150 Wired Keyboard and it is black…

  • Ugly colour, but great keyboard.

  • +3

    Good colour, good keyboard

Is this actually any good to type on? Seems kind of pointless when there's so many cheap mechanical boards.

    • +1

I have this and a nuphy air 75. Night and day difference. Hardly use my mx keys since I bought the nuphy. I think if you enjoy scissor switch laptop style keys they’re fine. The indents in the keycaps are also nice, but nothing beats the feel of a mechanical

      • +2

Agreed but the problem is people's tastes vary, and it will take a long time before the average consumer hones in on their optimal mechanical/optical switch since there are countless switch varieties. Consumers might be looking at a few hundred dollars invested before arriving at their ideal setups. Furthermore, as with any enthusiast community, often it can be insufferable and elitist.

    • Subjective - for me, yes.

I prefer the Apple keyboard over this and would prefer a mechanical keyboard over both.

  • +3

Just bought 2 in the pink…

    • See what you did there…

  • Are these light enough for travel or heavy like the full size? If heavy, any good suggestions for a light travel one for use with laptop and a portable monitor? Hate twisting toward the laptop.

    • the mx is light so would be good for travel. I love mine

  • Does the non-mini ever go on sale?

    • +2

Yes; keep an eye out on OzBargain

  • Any deals for a pink full size KB? must be Mechanical or MX.

  • How is the full size compared to this?

    • Full size has more keys … I keep the full size at home and the mini for the office when I occasionally go in.

  • True OzBargainer will wait for the best deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/829108

  • great colour, it'll match my setup !!
