      An Everyday Transaction account has zero fees. It actually pays 4.75% p.a. interest

      EDIT: Which is really weird, as their high interest savings accounts pay the same! What's the point lol

    Is there any minimum balance or conditions or hops to go through to keep a Macquarie account open and have access to that 3% Amazon gc discount? If not I might open one just for that.

      FWIW before I switched over full time I had an account with one dollar in it for years, simply for the use of Marketplace. Never got charged fees that I can recall

      EDIT: Per comment above, Everyday Transaction is no fees and is interest bearing.

  Probably best to avoid buying these low value GC bonuses, especially when >3% can be readily found elsewhere.

  Only then, we'll hopefully get more decent 5-10% bonuses!
