They have absolutely 0 bass so just beware. Canā€™t detach cable. And yes only 9.9$.

Tbh if you looking for comfy super light weight headphone I recently tried nicehck yd30, old style earbuds, but can wear them forever without any fatigue

VE Monk Plus and Sony MH755 (hard to find legit ones now though) can also be added to the good sounding cheapies list.

    • Some would say it has embedded bass filtration.

    • Perfect! Good to listen RX with my Portapack! šŸ˜

I tried the Zeros with the inline mic and the mic doesn't work with the Portapack.. šŸ˜Ŗ

    • The Quarks do have bass but to some people it may be too light or in your case nonexistent when it has some.

    • I recently bought Nicehck EB2S to replace my partner's failing VE Monk Plus. I liked it so much that I bought another one to replace my Fiio EM3, sounds better and has a much better mic. I use foam eartips mostly as a protection cover and use silicone ring to keep the foam in place, in addition to better sealing. So far I found the thinner shape of EB2S helps to hold the silicone ring in place, whereas it's too easily to push in on my other earbuds. Now mostly listen to EB2S over my (overpriced) Fiio EM5 due to this.

I just received my CHU II IEMs this morningā€”if the original sounds anything like CHU II, this is an amazing price.

      • I ordered the "MOONDROP CHU II High Performance Dynamic Driver IEMs" the other week, but for $28.99, looking forward to trying them out!
Shipping is a tad slow. About 2-3 weeks to WA.

        • Bummer… it only took 2 days to Victoria

@ransworld: I've a feeling mine are not local stock and are coming directly from Shenzen! :/

      • +1

It's apparently a little brighter and less bassy. Still very good, but the II's are better.

      • Is $29 a good price on these?

Looking for a cheap ish wired set to use with steam deck

    • Received my Moondrop CHU IEMs with Mic for $16.50, liked so much I just bought another pair to keep for a rainy day

    • Thank you dear sir. I received my chu yesterday and absolutely love it. Been using cheap tws for a while this is night and day.

If i wear these, does it play me the Rules of Aquisition?

  • +1

A lot of people say no bass, IMO they have a decent volume of bass but needs to seal properly against your ear. This is difficult as the quarkā€™s cable is relatively very heavy, so if the cable sways when you walk with them on, they get dislodged. This can be minimized somewhat by looping the cable around your ear, but not ideal.

As for sound, less detail than the chu but has a more mainstream and ā€œfunā€ tuning IMO. Also fits much better and more comfortably on my ear if I do the ear loop trick I mentioned above. Iā€™d personally pick this over the Chu, but the Salnotes Zero 1 and the WanEr are better choices than either.

  • anyone with thoughts on mic or no mic? does the sound quality coming from earpiece suffer as a result?

  • arrrg ozbargain!! I bought it and I don't even need it…
