Also $99 on their eBay store

Use the StudentBeans code to bring it down to $79 (code is one time used so if you have previously used it before, it won’t work)

Or add a $1 item and it becomes $90 + del (free C&C) with code APRSAV

    • Hello good sir, is this studentbeans code for ebay or for good guys. Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out how to get this code in my studentbeans account.

      • +2

For eBay. You’d need to click through via the StudentBeans website as each StudentBeans account is assigned a unique cookie on the URL

    • $5 delivery, Closest store to me doesn’t show for ebay C&C

Thanks mate, bought this for $84 delivered with SrudentBeans.

These have the best fit, compared to Buds2 Pro and XM5. You can eat, run, and do stuff. You'd never know they're there lol

    • I am most impressed by the ANC

    • +1

not for me. the wing tips made them not fit my ears at all so i had to take them off even then they fit terribly. i bought them for running and they are useless for me so i only use them when in bed/sitting even then they do not fit properly and the sound quality is atrocious due to them not fitting my ear

  • Bud Plus or this?

    • Plus, better ANC
      These have a better fit

  • I actually used these today while doing groceries. I have to say it was pretty good, almost.. relaxing lol

  • +1

    Amazon $99 1-2 day delivery

  • I like these, got them from the Telstra Plus sale.

  • How is it compare to bud2 if anyone has tried both?

  • +4

Just a heads up some people might have an allergic reaction to this where you ear gets an infection with every use from the nickel just like the buds pro. I was fine with the previous versions before the pro's but i upgraded to these ones got the infection after 2 months of use and stopped using it after.

    • That was the most annoying thing abut the Pros when I got them. I wore them a few times when I got them and just stopped for a few months after to let the infection heal and it's been fine ever since.

  • Can anyone tell me the quality of the mic on these when taking a call while you're walking around?

    • Like any bluetooth mic - not great but can hear alright

  • +1

Do these sit IN your ear canal, or just nestle up against it?

    • +1

Nestlé. Nowhere near the abuse like a jabra active/pro.

      • I wore it with the oob configuration and it nestles up nicely. I was not sure if that is how it is supposed to be and was thinking of trying the small wing tip and the small ear tip. Based on your reply @BusMan, I guess I just continue to use it as is. Thanks.

  • Great price! I bought some grey import ones for about the same price a couple of months ago for my wife.

I will try hers and get some myself if the fit is right!

  • I have the original Galaxy Buds - are these worth it over those?

    • Not sure but I figured it was time to upgrade and ordered these

      • Yeah I did click and collect and had a quick listen. Currently charging and I'll update, etc tonight and see how I feel.

Off the get go they do sound better, they also fit better despite the original buds having different options for tips. I found that (for me) these are a good fit, no wireless charging which I didn't realize but also don't care enough.

    • Same, the battery life on mine is still pretty good but I've started to get issues with one of the buds disconnecting lately. Wouldn't mind ANC too and I found the OG's very comfortable, they're great when running too, I've very rarely had to adjust them - maybe in summer when I start to sweat on runs. Seems like a good price for a decent pair of wireless buds.

      • Yeah the battery in mine is fine, I don't use them much but they don't work too well for calls anymore.

I'm currently Travelling (don't have any Good Guys stores for 100km+ normally) so I think I'll grab a pair as the ANC is a nice option.

  • these are very good. I had buds 2, buds 2 pro, a few sonys and jabras. especially if you have a Samsung phone, these are the best in terms of fit, comfort, and ANC is very good. sound is very decent too.

  • +1

I'm looking for a pair that comfortable are small in ear buds, so if I am lying on my side in bed, I don't feel like I have a golf ball in my ear, and they will work with just one, left or right while the other stays in the case.

    Any recommendations?

    • 1more Comfobuds Mini are the most comfortable earbuds I've tried, and it's because it's literally one of the smallest earbuds that exist on the market. You can lie on your side without any discomfort at all.
However it's small size comes with compromises, comfort is 5/5, and every other spec is like 3.5/5. Everything else is decent but don't expect premium sound or features. It does still come with ANC though, which works well enough on public transport and airplanes.
I'm hoping one day the market shifts to smaller earbuds of similar size with more premium features, as all the bells and whistles mean nothing if the fit is not comfortable.
I'm considering having a second pair of earbuds like the Galaxy Buds FE for gym and longer listening sessions, whilst keeping my 1more Comfobuds mini as the earbud for sleep/travel/back-up.
Space A40s I've read are a little bigger than the 1more comfobuds mini but could be an alternative option.

      • well I now have ptsd every time I see earbuds it’s Vietnam all ogre again

  • Still $159 on edu store i have 100 credit to use but they do not price match

  • These are the best buds I've owned.

  • Do these have multipoint bluetooth connectivity?

How do these compare to the Sony Linkbuds S?

I'm also using a Motorola phone so a bit concerned about the reduction in features on a non-Samsung phone.

    • +1

Do these have multipoint bluetooth connectivity?

Won’t auto switch between devices but able to pair to multiple devices but have to select it in settings

  • +1

Thanks, bought one off from JB-Hi-FI for $94.00. Don't forget to add warranty extra for $19.80 (optional).

    • +1

@Dark Zeus Do you reckon the extra warranty is worth it? It says they replace even for reasonable wear and tear.

  • I wouldn’t get buds was riding my bicycle put them in my pocket during the ride. they just disappeared afterwards so easy to fall out, they also fell out multiple times during heavy rain, good thing they were only $5

    • +3

You need pants with zip up pockets my friend

    • If you're riding a bicycle, expect nothing light in weight to stay in your pocket…
Now if it's falling out of your ears, that 's a different issue; it means you need to find earbuds with a better fit or wing-tips to help it stay in.
There's many different sizes/types of ear buds, costing from $5 to $300. I think wireless earbuds are a great gadget and think you should give them another go, but yeah comfort/fit is subjective. You do pay for quality too in terms of ANC features, battery life, sound quality etc. Just depends on what you value.
