Experience with eufy Securify Camera Warranty Support?

Hi, I sent an email through their ticket support for warranty claim.

They responded and asked for more details and troubleshoots. Did that and they said a senior team will be in contact. It's been 3 weeks now and no one has replied. I followed up with the first support every week. No reply as well.

Bought it from Costco. I told Costco about this and they told me to contact Eufy first. If I don't get anything I'll just return it to Costco.

But anyone have any experience with them? I bought 4 pack and don't want to return to Costco because that would mean dismantling and returning everything, when I only need one camera to be replaced.

UPDATE: They have replied a couple hours after posting this. They said they had a higher number of inquiries. A replacement is now on the way and tracking would be provided once it's been sent.

    Not yet, but yours doesn't sound the best so far.

    What issue do you have with the camera?

    If I don't get anything I'll just return it to Costco.

    Might be this, just return it and buy a new one.

    • One of the cameras started being blurry. Honestly no issues and love to keep them.

      Yes, just thinking if I can replace one as they are working perfectly. Just less landfill. But looks like I've got no choice but to return the whole thing.

      • Darn about the blurry image. Yeah not much you can do on that other than to check the lens is clean as I don't believe they have a powered focus in them, it is fixed.

        You could powering the camera off and back on again. For my eufy model it is 4 rapid presses of the sync button to turn the camera off. Press the sync to power on, once off.

          Yes, the support has taken me through all these steps/troubleshoots plus more but the issue still remains.

          Happy to report there were only delays to replying from their support, they just replied to me today and now sending a replacement.

              • @kongkee: Nice!!! You might be able to have a go at pulling it apart and fixing the issue? Bonus camera if you can then!

    Buy new set, replace one and tell them that one has died. Just tell them straight up what's happened and what you've done.

      • You've conveniently left out the bit in your quote about me saying to tell them straight up what's happened and what he's done… Costco's policy means they'll refund it either way so an explanation about not wanting to remove the already-installed ones will probably be okay.

            @jv: Costco has already told OP to bring everything back if he has no luck with Eufy warranty.

            If OP brings the receipt from his original purchase, original box that contains three same model, but unused cameras plus the used one that's not working, Costco will refund it anyway.

            I would even argue that it's better off for Costco (and the environment!) because they could probably resell the three unused cameras as opposed to forcing OP to take down and replace the three other working ones with new ones and then returning the used ones that we know are functioning perfectly.

  • Surprised they sent you 1 replacement, I had 1 camera malfunction of my 4 camera pack. Followed Eufy support and took it back to JB Hifi (got a full replacement kit)
