        Rolled my own in AWS for about 25% of the cost. Obviously not for everyone but the price difference has made it worth it. The specs you are getting for over $150 was negligible on Ventra.

        You can use AWS Marketplace for one click Wordpress deployments.

    disappointed.
    renewed 26/4 for 1 hosting and for the other hosting i hit the renew button looking for the 30%, but nothing.
    must not be "eligible"

        I just asked your billing team the same question, having renewed on 25/06 and was told "Unfortunately, due to the Website hosting renewal already being paid, we are not able to provide you with the discount offered by our Mega May sales"

      are you sure you are with ventra for a long time?

      i have been with them for 10 years and i am a VIP Gold status rewards
      some discounts applied automatically in my account, although i didnt check the final price, which supplier is cheaper.

      The post literally says 30% off renewals.

      I renew every year at a discount. I think it's sometimes been more than 30% - from memory 40%.

      (I don't know why OzB is forcing me to select that I am associated with VentraIP - I'm not, in any way. Hence the deleted comment and 2nd attempt)

          Yep but it's 30% off renewals this month. Looks like it's max 1 year renewal though. I'm sure it's been more in the past.

          Just been playing around and it looks like upgrades aren't limited to just 1 year. So basically you can just put a minor upgrade into your package (e.g. 5GB storage) and then upgrade (i.e. "renew") for 2 or even 3 years, at 50% off (as it's 50% off upgrades this month).

          Even if you're doing 1 year it still might be worth it given it's 50% off rather than 30% - especially if you foresee a need to upgrade in the future anyway.

    Loyality not valued by VentraIP. The whole VIP Rewards program is a crock. New customers get greater discounts than users who have been with VentraIP for 10+ years. You need to be with VentraIP for over 15 years to get the same discount as new customers. I suggest all existing VentraIP customers move away now to send the admins a clear message.
