"Refurb" - the new word for "second hand".

Not an expert, but I believe the only thing they could do to "refurbish" is somehow remove the scratches. There's no way they'd change battery, seals, screen.

    edit:

Looks like new at first glance. Light signs of use such as small scratches. Battery Min 80%. OEM Original Apple Parts. 1 Year warranty.

Oh wait, it's just a bunch of used watches! So it's not even refurbished, despite being listed as refurbished.

I dare say they’d replace the watch band and call that a refurb.

    • exactly this.

comments on previous deal were like "got mine small mark on screen and $5 strap but otherwise brand new!"

Note: This is the Gen1 version of the Apple Watch Ultra.

Minor differences to Gen2, but just something to be aware of.

As far as I knew watch series can not be refurbished but only can be replaced by a new one. I paid to replace battery about my AW and apple just give me a new one.

  • Bought a refurb and it died after jumping in the pool. Got a refund no problem, but small print states the warranty does cover water damage, which is strange for a divable watch. A good price and you might get lucky, but beware.

    • If they open it once eg. to replace broken glass, it's not sealed anymore.

Good to see the seller updated the listing to 32GB. Was listed as 64GB previously

  • So these are still $1299 new. So half price used
    Probably a good deal
I’ve got one and use it a lot and the battery is at 96% after a year
Still a great watch and version 2 is only a minor upgrade.

Anyone bought one from this seller? What was the condition like?

    • +1

I recently bought, there’s some scratch on the case but you have to look closely to notice, battery is 100%. Haven’t tested water resistance because I don’t swim but some splash water is fine.

      • did it come with the OG charger?

        • No, charger is pretty crap, very weak suction, feel like would come off if just leaving on the table. rubber band is not bad, couldn’t tell difference between my wife’s genuine Apple one. Pretty sure neither is genuine.

  • Just a caution that the newer gen watches still have display lifting issue.

  • Anyone tried this seller before?

    • +1

Yup, just picked up a series 8 45mm GPS (100% Battery health) from them for $280. Comes with an aliexpress charger and band but otherwise no complaints!

      • Did you dare to shower/swim with it on your wrist?

        • shower i did. it was fine?

Thanks @Ashumz. I ended up getting a phone from Greengadgets around the same price. I read some good reviews about them.

    • Yep got mine last week 100% battery immaculate condition. I was told by customer support the water and dust resistance is not guaranteed. Based on my use case I will not be swimming or diving, happy with the purchase it was a nice upgrade from the gen1 SE

      • Because you asked? Or they said upfront?

        • +1

          I had to ask

  • $615 for the very good condition

I quite like these but I am not getting an iPhone just to use it.

    • Hope EU forces them to bit more

what you need to buy this and an iphone as well just to use it?? 😮

tell me you can at least make it show the time without an iphone. otherwise seems to me its just an expensive watch shaped screen that connects to an iphone.

      • I do t think you can even get beyond the set up without an iPhone. I was going to give an old apple watch to a younger member of thr family, but it needs an iPhone just to get it working. He's too young to have a phone, so the watch was thrown back in the draw.

Out of stock? here I am wondering how someone could spend so much on a watch and think its worth it.
meanwhile watch enthusiasts (horologists apparently) are probably laughing because its not expensive like a rolex.

why not just get CMF Watch Pro for $80? it does everything this can except maps, reply message and NFC pay. it has metal polished bezel looks better than the Ultra Max tbh Ive seen them side by side and 1-2 weeks of battery life on average how much does this get 3 days max?

    • Don’t buy anything, why spend $80? I wonder sometimes

      • you’re right $80 for a watch is still a lot.
I had stars in my eyes from this high $670 price because $80 is much less than that.
        don’t buy.

that’s how I save money. I always go on this tangent of finding something I don’t need and researching similar products on my phone for days weeks. in the end I decide I don’t need it and don’t buy.

the experience of buying new stuff is overrated anyway. you think it’s going to fill some kind of emptiness but it doesn’t.

  • This seems like a pretty decent price. Honestly would get but want the u2 chip
