Lock in your cruise for an extremely low deposit at $99 per person‡.

‡AU$99 deposit per person: pay (non-refundable) AU$99 deposit per person to secure booking. Remainder of the standard deposit and final payment is due 90 days before departure. Offer is not valid for bookings made within the final payment period.

Try your luck with some interior rooms - then hopefully bid for an upgrade closer to the travel date.
The NZ round trip (13nights) if you were lucky to score interior worked out to be just over 200/night per person or without package $139/night per person.

  I'm trying to understand the logic in sharing this deal because so far I can't even see what I'm getting for my $99 other than the ability to pay the rest of the full price bill later??

    Yeah me too.

    The final payments due 90 days before departure too, so only good for longer term bookings and you still have to pay well before departure.

      Reminds me of paying scammy gym joining fees.
      So you can have the privilege of paying more to them and later go through the pain of trying to get them to stop direct debiting your account as well..

  better value cruises currently on carnival website to the south pacific at $106 per night for 10 night

  Or if you want to goto NZ specifically, Carnival's 10 day cruise to NZ starts at $1210

  Free Spending Money

  P&O in past advertised $1 deposit to lock in a cruise. Was seen as a great marketing gimmick. And little to lose.
