It was probably damaged after the tv was already in it. So not worth it to take the tv out of the packaging and box and put it in another box
the box is damn solid though
Couldn't rip mine with my bare handsBought one of these box damaged one(different model) arrived in really good condition. Only the corner of the box was a bit torn, smaller than palm size. Everything else was brand new.
I thought Sony would be having their sales/discounts on last year TV's by now. is this all we are going to get :(
