    "Universal" - doesn't charge lithium batteries πŸ‘Ž

It will, just once though :)

      Depends on the lithium’s BMS

I reckon selecting 14.1V boost and 13.6V float should be ok for LFP, as long as you disconnect reasonably quickly instead of keeping it on float for more than a few hours at a time.

So simply use the "Gel" battery type on this charger, and don't leave it connected for long periods after it has charged. And don't enable "Rejuvenate" mode or anything else too fancy for its own good.

Even the "Equalising Voltage ………Gel 14.3VDC" will be fine.

  • Your post started off okay, then the revision went all spammy with the description.

Either way 25A max and 2A min Cars and Motorcycles……and it's not $250+ (more like $350-500 so it seems these days) is a brilliant deal. Ctek xms5 is how much again?

If I didn't have my needs covered, I'd jump on this happily.

And no I don't have a Li Ion battery vehicle or storage needs.

  • How to sell to euro car people:

    "9-stage"

    • and after a year, you might even have the crackle and pop!

grabbed one, seems like a great price for a 25a charger.

  • Mine arrived today, nice piece of kit.

I'm currently using it in PSU mode with about a 25A load.

Will test it changing a 200AH LFP battery (using Gel setting) later on.
