    I would HODL until the big sales since this is around new release prices. This is only TCL's mid-range TV. The C855 is the superior version and the 2024 of the ever-popular C845.

    • The C855 is $2380. Not bad if you are buying now https://www.appliancecentral.com.au/65c855-tcl-65-inch-c855-…

        $2380 is top dollar and not far off rrp. It’s just 65 inches. I suggest you compare sale prices for the superseded, but still available, C845. They went for between $1300 to $1400 at their lowest. I bought my 75 inch for about under $1600. The C845 is still a fantastic tv at runout prices.

        • Agreed. Got my 85" c845 on black friday for ~2400, fantastic tv so far.

    • When is that?

  • How does this 755 compare with last years 845?
    (I’m aware that the 855 is out)

      655 -> 755 -> 855.

      I don’t know how they compare, best to compare their specs side by side. Check out the nits.
