Recently i applied the Amex card via this deal- https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/830485.

I have noticed that there is referral rewards for this card and hope everyone has this offer.

Share with friends: Gets 30K Velocity Points and your friend will receive 100k points but when i share the link with my friend, its showing as 120K Velocity Points.

Have requested Mod to add into referral rewards section There is referral link for this card, Hope this post still valid as additional points for referee.

  With the high rate, I don't think anyone would be using this as a source of credit and considering the high annual fees, is this really worth it?

    The high interest rate should not be relevant to the target audience for this card. There's a general expectation that one is paying off their credit card in full every month. (Am trying to stay away from providing personal finance advice).

    I would argue that the high annual fee is offset by the card benefits and sign up bonus, at least for the first year for most people. So yes, it can be very much worth it.

  Haven't been able to get one for 4 years :(
  Meanwhile burnt through close to 24 cards during the period.
