10% bonus on subsidies of Westpac

    (profanity) bullshit

They can structure the promo how ever they want.
What’s bullshit is that they advertise as 10% and then reject it later like last week.

Shall we discuss the Elephant in the Room?

Be sure to take screenshots of EVERYTHING should history repeat itself…

    • +1

They'll still reject it based on last deal. Their reputation is currently questionable until they resolve it.

OP you are brave to post. Could be an unobtainable deal

    Had to research SB: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/845747

Do not count on receiving any cashback. It has been a week (and counting) since ShopBack supposedly have been investigating why previous eBay 10% cashback was rescinded with no resolution or status update as yet.

      ^ 100% this

There are too many uncertainties with shopback now especially with the last eBay 10% deal unresolved.

      • Yeah just use the eBay plus vouchers.
Even those aren't the best anymore but there are some good promo codes around anyway which make more difference (got 78$ of a watch the other day).

Cashbacks you should use at your own risk and be prepared to spend time chasing it up. I'm happy to do so but wouldn't rely on it for expensive items.

Use at your own risk and don't expect getting anything back.

  • Is there a SB rep to be seen?

    • +3

There is a rep GYB but GYB couldn't fix the previous eBay issues and waiting for the team to fix.

There is probably more than one person operating GYB's account which is a store account. They appear to be new to SB as they haven't been familiar with the T&Cs on other offers (eg Amazon, BWS etc) that regular shoppers here are aware of

  • I took the plunge for a tenner to get a possible buck and a chance at $100 with the ebay challenge.

I reasoned they would be stupid to offer 10% again if it was gonna fail. Their credibility is already low, this would further trash it.
