The cat in the photo looks Photoshoped.

You can get if for $55 via Woolworths Everyday Market by paying with Paypal and using code PAY10. Free shipping

  • +3

Cheaper via Woolworths as mentioned above. No bargain here, just adz again.

    • -2

Bit of a harsh neg considering my link is the same store as OP. I assume the $10 is coming out of Woolies pocket.

      • +6

It appears to be one of the main reasons the neg vote exists -

        Appropriate uses of negative vote
        Cheaper price elsewhere

$10 is definitely better in my pocket than someone else's.

      • +4

its clear the rep is aware of the promo with woolies from their reply tbelow - so why didnt they link via the woolies marketplace instead?
if the $10 is out of woolies pocket surely its a win win for seller and bargain hunters alike (and really why are are all here (other than reading the dramas on ozbargain forums?)

  • Thanks everyone, We had a promo with Woolworths but that has ended and wanted to give that to the group here. The link provided reflects the correct price on Woolworths which is $80.

    • +7

Well yeah it's correct now because you just jacked the price up.

Probably not a good way to conduct yourself on here, OzB members aren't fools.

      • +1

        nice detective work WN.

      • +1

        As per above, dodgy behaviour

      • +1

Negged for jacking the price up just to make this deal seem better.

      • +1

        LOL

say no to jack off behaviour

  • -4

First, our prices are always higher on Woolworths as they take big % of every sale, second we had a promotion with them as I mentioned and it ended, so we extended the offer to Ozbargain. Also, we are literally selling this item at a loss. We are a small Australian business, just trying our best to survive in this economic conditions and we would really appreciate a bit of support.

    • +2

      lol, you've been a member since 2023.
      Haven't learnt the OzBargain way.
Your previous deals have suffered the same fate too.
      Dodgy practice.

    • +1

We don't need sob stories just good deals. Not jacked prices to make deals look better.

  • +2

Yeah, having read over where this is going so far, cheaper elsewhere and then messing around with prices, I’m going to have to neg as well.

we are literally selling this item at a loss

Then maybe you shouldn’t be in business? That’s not a very sustainable business practice.

  • +1

Third deal in a row that's bad, Pat wizard should be removed from ozbargain now.

  • -3

We are a small family owned Australian business trying to make a living, sad how everyone says support local business but this is how "locals" respond. Thanks to everyone who has supported the deal.

    • +2

      You still don't get it…
We DO support Australian Businesses, we DO NOT support BS and dodgy practices, THIS is how "Locals" respond

  • +2

Can't believe you would jack the price up

  • +2

Was $55, now $70 (with use of Woolworths code)
I don't think I have ever seen a price-jacking as a result of the community pointing out a price-discrepancy between two platforms

Here, have a neg for your very odd and dodgy business behaviour!

  • As mentioned previously, we initially ran a promotion with Woolworths that concluded, and later extended it to Ozbargain. Due to the controversy it generated, we reinstated the promotion on Woolworths. Thank you, and I hope you have a great day.

    • +2

It's a tough learning curve but perhaps a valuable one rep. Ozbargain isn't a place to magically reverse your business fortunes or try to pull a swift one, despite what you may have heard or been told. Being harsh & scrutinising every deal ensures the community benefits as a whole, not merchants as individuals. Posting a good deal means merchants get sales but users score savings too.
