Cashback is available only if you visit the BWS website via our platform.
BWS can only confirm to us that an order is recorded if you accept all cookies that appear on their pages.
Your Cashback may be tracked at a different rate initially and adjusted to the correct rate when we confirm the transaction details.
Refunds, cancellations and no-shows
Any rejected, cancelled, refunded, exchanged or returned purchases will not be eligible for Cashback.

General disclaimers
Accounts that engage in fraudulent orders or activities to game or cheat the Cashback system will be banned and Cashback forfeited. ShopBack reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any users at any point of time.

        How did you confirm that the 22% is per transaction- I can’t see this specified anywhere.
        So can do multiple transactions, with cashback on each capped at $20?

      No it's separate and calculated off the total price less GST usually.

  • May as well use this for the $4 Kirin lemons, max 2 a day until 28/05/2024.
    A 10 pack may be easier, $48 => $38.50 after cashback, slightly cheaper :P.

    Ps. the staff keep on rabbiting on about a new BWS app / QR code, don't see any reason to change yet, sounds like it may be replacing Everyday Reward (but said can link ER), cluster already lol. The blue tickets mean you get stuff cheaper apparently.

    • It's the same app, and you can link your everyday rewards card to the app as well.

      It just means you can scan the app in store to get the cheaper price, rather than having to order through the app for the app exclusive pricing

      • Ah thanks for clearing that up. Cool already got the app and linked it years ago, not sure what the hoo har is about. Guess they sick of seeing people scrambling for their woolies/ER apps. My ER is also in Google wallet so all in one place.

          Just to clarify, EDR and AppyDeals are two separate things. To get the new blue ticket deals in store you need to show the barcode within the app to get the discounted price. Then you would also need to show your EDR barcode as well, but by linking your EDR to your BWS account, the one barcode within the app covers both.

          • @narz: Ok thanks for the clarification, have had the app and ER linked already but just noticed all the blue additions to the app. Some staff are confusing things talking about a new app etc.

      • In the past cashback was paid on total price including GST with Shopback but not Cashrewards. I guess it has changed.

      • I used to be of those neg BWS cashback deals and posting about it but haven't tried in so long so can't justify the neg unless I test it again. Dunno why I have to test and BWS can't just fix their website though…

      • I haven’t been able to open the app for days now even after a reinstall. I know cashback through the app doesn’t apply but often easier to search there, add to cart and then login to the website.

        Also, is GST excluded as has been added in the past, as recently as 19/4 for me?

            I did 2 seperate orders but the std CB only tracked for one transaction however bank bonus(used WPC and STG) was tracked for both

      Yes, in theory as long as your StG card is linked and you pay with it you should get the bonus.

      I'm still chasing my last one with Coles though. Tracked at .3% vs 15%.

  • Supposedly the Westpac bonus is capped at $20 per user. Does anyone know if the same card can be used to pay through a different Shopback and BWS account (giving 2 x $20 caps)?

    • you can only link one card to one SB account…the moment you remove your card from an existing SB account any tracked transactions linked to that card will get rejected.

    Beware, I almost always have issues with BWS x Shopback tracking.

  • is the additional 10% on top of the $20 cap? Or both stacked won't exceed $20?

    • Separate caps. Spend $100 and get (capped) $20 cash back plus $10 Westpac bonus. Spend $150 and get $20 + $15.

    It's been a long time since SB and BWS worked for me so fingers crossed it is indeed fixed.

    @narz Mate, can you get your IT to fix your website for pickup orders? If the chosen store is closed for the day it doesn't let you do a pickup order for the next day. The only option is delivery or look for a different store that is open. There is no such issue on the app.

    • It seems like the website has an issue with pick-up stores. I've been changing pick-up stores so many times, just to find one that allows me to complete the payment. Even those with the stock availability somehow don't allow the pick-up.

      • I think it's the stupid system that doesn't allow pick up from stores that are currently closed. God damn, just let me pick up when it opens tomorrow.
