  • Seems to be in the big shopping centres.

only if the 100 bucks brings Note down below the 470 mark.

    • They should just drop the prices $100 across the board to make them what they should be

Does the Nexus 10 have an active digitiser?
      No.

The Note 10.1 is a niche product, and also offers things the Nexus 10 does not. You can't just say the Note should be cheaper, solely because the Nexus 10 is a better product for you.

  • Buy at Bing Lee with Amex card to get $30 credit back…

They aren't in the participating reseller list.

    • i think that finished on the 18th

  • $563 at JB now.

  • Better get your note10.1 quick. It probably won't be long when JB, HN etc raise the price by $100 and say that it comes with a $100 gift card.

    very interested in using this.
…but how would I know that the 5000 claims are not alreay used up?

  • btw, just checked Allphone, telechoice, yesoptus… they dont seem to sell galaxy note 10.1 3g. so that only leaves jb and hn as participating stores?

    • 3g/4g models are eligible too. See the full T&Cs

      • well, they dont sell the note 10.1 atall
I even called allphones just now to confirm

Is there a 4g (LTE) version of Note 10.1 here?

        • I called up yes optus and telechoice stores. they have no idea when (or if) they will get it. :/

        • Called Samsung. they say they have released 4g version but it is up to the retailers to see if and when they stock them.

seems like no chance of using this $100 promo for the 4g version.

btw, they said that once the 5000 claims are used up, the website will be updated.

    • I understanding in the terms is that they will start stocking them from the 19/11

  • questions:
1 how do I redeem? do I have to go to the Samsung promoter booth at designated area with my receipt to redeemed?
2 what gift cards is that? is that only for samsung item? or was it a jb hifi gift card?

    • It seems you have to buy it from the exact stores mentioned in the original post, at the specific Westfield centre/s in your state. They probably hand you the card after purchase.

  • 3G version is $549 at Kogan:
    http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/samsung-galaxy-note-101-n8000-gr…

Shouldn't be too hard to get JB or HN to come close to this price.

Still a bit expensive if you ask me, given how quickly Android devices get superseded and therefore drop in price.

According to the picture, the gift card is an EFTPOS card - so you can use it to pay for anything where EFTPOS is accepted (just can't get cash out).

  • There is conflicting info in the pdf file for location in VIC on page 2

  • i'll wait for the Note 10.1 2 with retina display next year.

    • +1

      with retina display

You know 'retina display' is just an over-hyped marketing term used by Apple, right?

      • yeah i know, but who doesn't want a better screen for the same price? Nexus 10 + Spen = yum!

  • +3

I saw this and i ended up buying a new fridge.
$200 gift card with a 600L side by side.

    Thanks OP
