  • Hearing about how particular copies are region locked, would this be compatible with Australian versions?

    • you can just call up blizzard and tell them to change it for you.

      • does this mean I can purchase US copy (NA server) and call Blizzard asking them to move me to SEA server?

    • pc region locked? wow that sucks

      • It's more of an account region lock. Online play will put you on the region's servers that you got the copy from.

If you give a crap about where you play online, be careful when ordering.

There was mention that they would be removing the region locking "Soon".

  • hmm $50 more the for collectors…tempting

    • buy both and sell the collectors in 2 years for 300% profit.

  • Take it this doesn't include the beta access? No mention of it on their site (although not much details at all for it!)

  • +1

The game is not due to be released till march next year.. So not much info. This is the same for all the other stores…..EB games, JB Hi fi, DSE and so on..

  • I am not 100% sure about the region lock side of things but with the first SC there was no lock

    • If you bought an Aussie copy, you had a choice of US servers or SEA (it launched with just SEA access, but they quickly added US shortly after). Other regions didn't have those choices. You are region locked to the region you bought the game from.

D3 I believe doesn't have region locking, though I'm not 100% sure because I didn't like that game very much. But it leads me to believe that HotS will either drop their region locking soon or not launch with it at all.

  • I don't believe there is a region lock anymore

    • Ye, I heard there is no region lock anymore too.

  • Anyone got anything from this website before? A little scary to buy something from them if they got no store front

    • it is as legit as jbhifi.

    • Bought from them before, they seem fine. I believe they ship from HK though.

  • Hoping for a deal at around $50 for the digital bundle soon after HotS is released.

  • Cheapest price in Australia so far seems to be Dick Smith: $39.20 plus $4.95 shipping.
