Scouting around for a price for the New Release and spotted this bargain at Dick Smith of all places…

          Smash brothers did well, whats the problem? If the genre and style of play is successful why not mimic it? It's done in so many other genres.

          Crash could easily become a DLC character down the line.

          What's to say they can't have characters like big daddy? the franchise did well on the ps3 and if it appeals to the people then they've done their job. It's not Playstation Exclusive Characters All-stars. I like that you've dismissed the other characters like Nathan Drake from Uncharted whom seems to do well with gamers.

          Decent price for a new release.

          I honestly hope so… I enjoy this style of game and every player in the market having something like this would bring out some great games from the other companies under pressure

      As someone who has played the beta, I can safely say that this game isn't just a smash bros. clone. It's mechanics are different in their own right, and it feel much more strategic and skilful than smash bro. Definitely a lot of fun to play.

        "Is this a Smash Brother rip off?" ….and Halo isn't a rip off of every other FPS? If you break it down to core concept then all games today are rip offs. (not hatin on halo, just example)

        "MS came up with something different and arguably better (Kinect)"…. do you remember PS2 EyeToy. Agreed Kinect is far more complex than eyetoy but again the concept is there.

        I own both PS3 and X360. They are both awesome in there own rights. I don't love brands, I love games!

          As above, I had a almost identical thing to eyetoy on my PC back in 200-2001 or something. Just wasn't popular so Sony managed to sell it as innovative.

          I own Wii, PS3 and 360. Still hate Sony, and find PS3 to be a huge disappointment.

          I'm all for hearing someones opinion be it positive or negative but when it has no factual backing apart from "I hate Sony" maybe you should keep it to yourself.

        If my house was burning down I would save my 360 before my PS3, but that doesn't make the PS3 a bad console or Sony a bad company.

        And it sure as hell doesn't make the Kinect a good peripheral.

        EDIT: And LOL at you calling out the PS3 on it's lack of "stars". Who would you pick from exclusives Xbox games? Master Chief and Marcus Fenix for sure. But then who else? A random Fable or Saint's Row character? A car from Forza? The Xbox is a fantastic console, but it really lacks exclusives.
