  • Nice watch, great price!!

  • Just order one for Christmas gift, nice found.

  • Nice watch. Have one from the claremont series. Second hand movement is nice.

    Thread on it here: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f21/bulova-precisionist-how-smo…

  • so…hard…to…resist….

  • I bought one in the last deal, really good feel in hand, not too heavy and the leather strap seems durable. But the strap is really hard and cardboard like when first opened.

  • i want the black one

    • same

  • Damn you, now this will be my 20th watch. Going to offload some on ebay.

  • Pretty tempting, but after a stainless steel band and no battery.. anyone seen any awesome deal on something like this?

  • -1

Wish they had a gps chip for tick-tock atomic clock sync.

  • +1

  • wow this is a pretty amazing watch for the price actually, i feel kinda stupid having a omega 50 times the price that actually is less accurate(but it was a gift from grandad so you cant say no hehe)

bulova seems like a big player in watch technology according to wikipedia. The founder was a Bohemian immigrant to US!

    • That was the original Bulova with their Accutron. Now Bulova is owned by Citizen and they no longer make the real Accutron mechanism. Their watches are now quartz or automatics. The Precisionist range is interesting because it is a quartz movement which sweeps across almost very smoothly but much cheaper than an equivalent such as Seiko's Spring Drive.

Note that their quartz movement is made in Japan, not in Europe or US.

  • is the deal expired?
    it says $130

    • Looks like it has.

  • Mine just marked as speed. They used DHL! Excellent for the cheap shipping.

That should make a couple of OzBargainers happy…

Mods can you "unexpire" this deal please?

  • Damn quick shipping (3days). I have received mine today. Beautiful watch for the price. Love the swiping seconds and curve crystal.

    • Just keep that watch under your sleeve away from brick walls and railings etc.
That exposed dome is more prone to scratching on the mineral face than watches with a surrounding metal bezel, but it does look good!

  • This is an interesting one as well. Will wait for price to come down.

  • mine arrived today :)

Looks nice, band is very stiff (making it hard to do it) but I'm sure it'll sort itself out with time.

    • Did yours come with any documentation.. i.e. warranty card? Maybe I was in a mad rush to open the box, but I am pretty sure it didn't come with any.. but i do like the watch! Thanks =)

      • Yeah I had a manual, didn't look for a warranty card but I'd assume there is one.
