And in addition you can add other stuff to the order in some cases pretty much no extra shipping cost.

    For example
    Transcend USB 3.0 Multi-reader for $16
Sandisk 64GB Ultra SDXC for $39
    Sandisk 32GB Class 4 MicroSDHC $16

  • the 19 & 30 in MFT is also available for backorder as well.

If you are keen for the 30mm, BHPhotovideo have it for $149 as well, but postage is $30. Having read a few comments/reviews, sounds like a very good lens.

    • F/2.8 feels really slow for a 30mm lense. Generally the wider you go, the more difficult it is to make a fast lense.

A 30mm design should really be at least f/2.0 or at least a pancake style design

As an example Sigma themselves make a 30mm f/1.4 for NEX sized sensor on Nikon/Canon for just $350

      • Where from?

        • Well.. closer to $400 really.. but you get the point. 2 stops is an enormous difference.

Eventually someone would make a 30mm f/2 on NX for $250 and the value of the 30mm f/2.8 model would drop like a rock.

        • The 30/2.8 and 19/2.8 are already a bargain for what they are at $149 USD, how much cheaper can they realistically get? USD $99? Doubt it.

Sony is coming out with a 35/1.8 e-mount lens with IS next month for about $450USD if you're willing to pay the premium.

          Which is basically my point.

Nikon has the same 35mm f/1.8 without IS for around $250 normal price. Which is about the same as Sigma's 30mm f/2.8 normal price.

          Sony's 35mm f/1.8 IS price would stabilize around $300 to $350 after a year.

OK, the Sigma 30mm f/2.8 at $150 (actually $180 after shipping) isn't that awful, but its not really a bargain. The Sigma 19mm f/2.8 is on the other hand a real bargain as there's no way anybody can produce a faster lense for anywhere near the same price. Eg, the NEX 24mm f/1.8 lense is $1000 (and without IS to boot).
