    Also if you buy the batteries you might want to store used ones in a box since Officeworks has a recycling program.

      Yeah you can bet your butt that they last 5 minutes before you have to bin them.
      Please at least recycle them properly, people. Cheap stuff like that is usually at the cost of the environment… there are plenty of good deals on the Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries on ozbargain!

      I work there & I haven't heard of this. Are you thinking of Aldi? They just started a battery drop off. Officeworks recycles mobiles & toners.
