robbiejuve on 14/12/2012 - 10:06 ¶Their current customers are not the target market, gnome loving customers of other banks are. I'll take the gnome but pass on the loan.
+4 votesIt will be the branches that are located on those streets, I.e
QLD
240 Queen Street branch,
King George square branchNSW
2 Martin Place
Etc…Google CBA and then the location of interest to get address details :)
I do work for the bank, hence I have ticked rep, but I am not involved with this promotion.

You can search for branches by using the postcode or suburb here:
http://service.commbank.com.au/locate-us/?branch=1
peeweekathi on 14/12/2012 - 18:36 ¶Click on the Terms & Conditions link (up near the first post) and all the exact location addresses, for each state, are on it. Limit of 250 gnomes per location, from memory.
+3 votesMaybe you should stop using Apple Maps?
It should be somewhere on this block
robbiejuve on 14/12/2012 - 10:08 ¶?????? Keep walking down Sussex St westbound and you will indeed bump into China Town.

-1 voteDJWEZWALLY on 13/12/2012 - 22:42 ¶If I can't make it to the location can they ship the gnome to my address mate? I've always wanted a gnome
+1 votepeeweekathi on 14/12/2012 - 00:11 ¶Okay…I'm gonna try and get one….but only if we can have a 'family' reunion of the OzB gnomes, next year:)
-3 votesgnome's always been free here www.gnome.org use it as much as you like
:)

robbiejuve on 14/12/2012 - 09:04 ¶So the CBA that makes billions of profit a year cannot buy enough gnomes that they run out in 5 mins? Yes I'm mad.
asterixwins on 14/12/2012 - 09:41 ¶"Dont trust a gnome who you dont gnome with your home" How bad was that attempt….grrr

I'm sorry, but gnomes are evil. They steal my underwear all the time. You can't trust them.
Look at all the gnome conspiracy theories here - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Physics-dont-exist-its-all-Gno...
+3 votesrobbiejuve on 14/12/2012 - 11:34 ¶Most people were walking away with 2-3 gnomes each and therefore blocking the front of the Q so no one behind could get any. Quite disappointing in the CBA's organisation and the greed of most people.
Would it kill staff to hand these out in an orderly fashion so 1 gnome per person?
I suggest you get there 5-10 mins early.
+1 voteInitially there seemed to be a Q but as soon as the staff said "go", people just lunged forward and grabbed as much as they could. Also since there were Gnomes in different sizes and different poses, people were trying to get what seemed to be the best of the lot. This does need to be managed better but I also am sad on how the people acted. And, yes, I did manage to get one :)
+1 voteYadaYadaYada on 14/12/2012 - 18:43 ¶Wow that is terrible to hear. The staff should've managed it better rather than letting it become a free for all. Hope they do better in other states.

+1 voteGot one on the stroke of 12(well a bit later with the queue =)) at Bourke Street Melbourne.
Gnome repatriation was well organised, recycle-friendly bags were handed out, one per person, presumably to tally the number of gnomes handed out. Gnomes were handed out by friendly staff, one per person per bag. No gnomes were hurt in the process =)
