Saw this on Big W’s latest catalogue — Pentax K100D Digital SLR Camera + Sigma 18-55mm zoom lens for $688 from Big W. Moreover it is not a promotional price — it is everyday price. Not that long ago these Pentax DSLR were selling for $999 and how quick their price has dropped! If I remembered correctly K100D also won “Highly Recommended” in APC’s Prosumer DSLR comparison.

Checked against both Shopbot and staticICE, and there are a few shops that are slightly cheaper than Big W.

Another cheap item found in Big W’s catalogue this week. On page 18 under “Home Office”, there is a Maxtor 160GB External Hard Drive for $98.94:

Although for a few dollars more you’ll get a much bigger Samsung drive with no-brand enclosure, it is still a good buy for a branded package.
