    Pity that the 1st one is the only good one. There was no effort in the latter movies. Just a cheap way to print money for the producers.

      You're seriously confused if you thought any of them were properly good. Police Academy was a poor man's Porkies, and even it's fans would struggle to call Porkies good.

      It's like saying "Uwe Boll's early movies were good, he just didn't make an effort in the later ones." It makes no sense.

      Don't get me wrong, I love me some cheese, I love me some Police Academy, but Police Academy was not all that different from original through to Mission to Moscow.

        You're right. I mean… I thought I really enjoyed them up until now, but now you have pointed out I was wrong, I can finally realise that I wasn't having fun, my brain was just simulating the experience to feel like fun.

          I said they're not good, what's that got to do with fun? I mean, I say it right there, I love me some Police Academy. I also, on occasion, like me some fast food. I just don't delude myself into thinking it's good.

          If anything my post was far more supportive of the series than the one I replied to…

          Good is a matter of opinion in this circumstance. If I think a movie is/was good, you can't convince me that it wasn't. do you ever manage to convince people that their taste is wrong?

    I was really surprised to learn that the Police Academy movies were filmed in Canada (maybe except the one where they go to Miami, and Russia of course). When I was a kid I always thought it was the USA.

    I received my order the other day, as it turns out, in one of the cd packs, the plastic that holds the cd was broken, seems like the plastic is fragile, spoke to amazon.co.uk rep via chat, and they offered to provide me a refund and i don't have to send it back, will put the money towards a replacement case or i will try and super glue it together
