  • So….is this normal price?

  • +21

It's my normal price, pretty good deal on all items though, for Australian based stock.

      • +67

Is it not still a good deal if it's cheaper than anywhere else?

I mean, I could make a website with higher prices but you know, I'd rather not play games.

      • +21

        many OzBargainers object to advertisement

When are we going to get our heads around the fact that every single rep post on ozbargain is an advertisement?

      • +15

its a deal because it wont take 30 days for it to get to you from HK or China if you ask me

        • +1

Only thing worse than the 30 day wait is waiting the 30 days and then have it NOT arrive. China/HK sellers with the % probability estimation on number of days till arrival is bunk. Just assume its 30 days…..if it arrives at all.

      • +24

A cheap price is what defines a good deal, not sale price vs regular price.

        • +6

A "bargain" is a price that is clearly better than others in the market.
The fact that a retailer sells at this low price every day does not void the "bargain" status, in fact it enhances it !!! :-) A+ to this dealer.

      • You're idea of a "deal" is what Harvey Norman et al call sales.
Super high prices with 50% off which are still high.

If event cinema's changed to $6.50 tickets normally would you not rush to post it on here?

I'm more surprised it's Aussie stock although I've had eBayers take >2 weeks to deliver for "Aussie stock".

I'm looking for a usb to mini (for my father's [old] blackberry) though.
If you have a mini usb cable let me know.

        • If Event Cinemas changed to $6.50 tickets normally would you not rush to post it on here?

My local independent cinema Dumaresq Street Cinema charges $6 all sessions all movies all tickets. That has been its admission price for over 6 years. By the logic of this thread I should rush to post this "deal", and repeat it every 3 months?

        • Why not? The going price for a movie ticket can be twice that so the business should be promoted for offering the bargain. $12 everywhere else, $6 every day = bargain.

115+'s here at the moment… says it all doesn't it?????????

If your local servo sold petrol for 50c lt you would not post it??

Where were you when this deal got hammered? Cheap PC Repairs in BRISBANE - $40/Hr (Discounted Hourly Rate) I did not see you defending that deal.

  • Woop! Grabbed myself 2 USB Car Chargers.

    • +7

Soon as you paypal they will be going in the post. Got the envelope ready to go :-)

      • Good thing I got in super early! Seems like these Car chargers are super popular. Was gonna grab myself a few more for the fam's… sigh.

Lots of Cable Bargains on my eBay store

You have a grand total of five products.

    • Anything over 1 is "lots". HAhha

  • +11

Yep, I'm a small business (very very small). Building it up slowly, getting more products as I find ones that I can provide at a good price :-)

OK, maybe Lots was going over the top a little but I'll get there :-)

    • +6

Good luck with your new venture.

    • +1

at least this guy is trying to make a deal and most of us just sitting here trying to get a deal. good luck with your new business.

      • Thanks very much :-)

  • Any plan on stocking male to female USB extenders any time soon?

    • I'll look into them and see what I can do. It wouldn't be for a bit though so if you need one urgently I'd suggest grabbing one from elsewhere. I do order stuff in from China so sometimes it can take a bit to get here.

EDIT: what length do you need and how many?

  • +5

Considering the OP is paying 8c FVF 30c PayPal Fee 60c Postage in Australia I would say it is definitely a good deal LOL
    P.S. BLACK 1 & especially 2m lightning cables for iPhone 5 & iPad 4 would be super excellent :)

    • I'd like to see 2m lightning cables too, that was my intended purpose for the USB extender.

      • +1

I'll see what I can do

      • +1

Lightning cables!! The people have spoken :D

  • +3

I am just about to be ordering some lightning cables and also some micro usb-lightning adapters. Pricing isn't determined yet but shipping should be quick, even taking into account Christmas. Best price I have seen around is $4.95 on Ebay, I should be able to do them for a bit cheaper than that and maybe even run a direct special to ozbargainers for $4 or something. I would need to figure out how to do that though, I don't have a direct website yet and paypal fees are a bitch at the cheap end of the market :-)

    I'll keep you posted.

  • do you have 10m hdmi cables?

    • I need one also

      • I'll see what I can do with throwing a few in with an order from one of my suppliers

  • Thanks OP. Picked up 2 items :)

  • good price for the USB car charger

  • +1 for customer service
    good price. thanks.

  • 45cm SATA cables sorry but what is the purpose of a 45cm SATA Cable? haven't seem many setups that would even need more than 20cm.

That being said I am thinking of ordering one just in case lol

    • +2

45cm is the common length for a SATA cable. Depends on the case and how neatly you want to route the cables, in some situations a 45cm cable is not long enough. But agreed, short cables also have their places.

      • heh mine aren't too visible and I just have the normal short cables.

    • I use 45cm to hide cables behind case…..loopty loop

      • That's what I do :-) Got 20 drives in my server and all with that length cable :-)

  • Thanks OP. Just bought. Very sensible pricing.

  • Can do I order two different items together ?

Just bought couple of items :)

    • Absolutely :-) It's actually my preference, then I can just bundle them all together in the same package.

    • If you did, then I guess you can.

      • yeah, open both items in different tabs. Once you commit to buy, it will bundle them together for payment

  • Just bought a few. Cheers

  • Hi rep, I was wondering if you plan to sell longer sata cables?

    • Not at this stage, probably eventually. As I mentioned before I am a micro business and slowly building things up and looking to make it full time eventually :-) Ozbargainers will always get the good deals from me, as a thanks for the initial support :-)

  • I need a dvi cable 5 or 10m long will you be getting any?

    • Not in the near future sorry

  • I dont see the car charger :(

    • I severely underestimated demand, just putting in another order for more. Getting express shipping, I will post again when they are in stock, alternatively, send me a PM and I will email you when they come in.

  • Are the hdmi cables sold out as well? When will new stock be coming?

    • +1

They weren't cables, they are HDMI to Mini HDMI adapters. I am looking at getting some HDMI cables in but am currently trying to nail down price with a couple suppliers. I would probably be getting the 1-2m cables.

      • +1 for short cables. Less than 1m are very useful for between BluRay/DVD players and amp.

  • Bought an HDMI->HDMI Mini adapter… thanks :)

    • My pleasure, should be shipping out today.

    Hi Mate,

I bought USB to micro USB cable this morning. Can I have delivery within this week ?? I need it very urgently…

    Thanks

    • +3

Then why not buy one at MSY or something and pay the extra 50c?

  • Can not find mini hdmi male to female cable ( USE phone to an adapter)

    • It would appear the adapters have sold out as well. Ordering more now.

  • How about some HDMI Cables? 2m - 3m?

    • +1

Working on it for the future

      • Yup I'm also looking for extra hdmi cables, including 1m ones

  • How were you able to list multiple quantity listings without an ebay store?

    • It's not a requirement. You just do a buy it now and list how many items you want to sell. You need to have a seller account though.

      • Oh I think you registered as a business

        • nope don't need to be registered as a business. I have a normal ebay account and used to list items with a quantity. Just needs to be buy it now and no auction.

  • +1

An OTG cable would be nice :D

    • +1

Noted but it won't be soon :-)

  • Just grabbed 2 mini hdmi to hdmi adapters, thanks rep

    • My pleasure, should be shipping out today

  • Ordered a micro-usb, thanks mate.

  • Hey Rep, are your car chargers all gone?

    • Yeh, I can't find them either

      • If you go to 'completed listings' you can see what has ended.
Looks like he only had 20 of them.

    • They are I'm sorry, I severely underestimated how popular those would be. I am putting in an order for a larger quantity now. Send me a PM if you want me to notify you by email, or keep an eye out for future postings.

  • Purchased a couple of sata cables, cheers OP.

  • +1

No matter how many SATA cables I buy, I never seem to have one when I really need one.

    • I know right? At least I will (almost) never run short now

  • Darnit, I just ordered a mini-hdmi cable from Hong Kong. Three weeks of my life I'm never getting back. Still I am too cheap to order another one. Three weeks is apparently not worth $1.39 to me.

    • Lol, no worries. My stuff isn't as cheap as the Hong Kong stuff of course, but it is quicker.

  • exact same issue with me

  • The Cable Guy!

    • +1

I was thinking of calling myself that, but I wanted to sell more than just cables, so I went with the double entendre of "Brent's Bits"

      • +3

Excuse me sir, cable for you
        Abel's cables
        Anne of Green Cables
        Ready, cable and willing
        Laying cable
King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Cable

Feel free to use any of those

  • Hi. Any HDMI (laptop) -> DVI (monitor) connector, or HDMI (laptop) to DVI (monitor) cables?

    • No sorry, probably not for a long time either

  • Damn! I just bought a SATA cable from Jaycar for $8 or something.

    • Keep your receipt and return it :-) I kid, at least you know me for next time.

    • Jaycar is almost the furthest thing from a computer store. The mistake was buying from there in the first place. 1/4 of their items are damn good. The rest is tacky crap.

      • Aye, was in a rush though & Jaycar normally has cheapish bits and pieces.

        • Really? I've never found anything at Jaycar cheap.

  • can your micro usb and mini usb cables power 2.5" hdd? happy to pay a premium for those cables but unfortunately the ones ive tried off ebay dont

    • +1

I don't have a 2.5 to test with so I am not going to guarantee it. What kind of amp draw does the hard drive use? I charge my nexus 7 with these cables and that is a 2A draw. I will poke around and see what I can find to test more but I don't think I have one of those units to test on.

  • can't find anything else besides both sata cables, sold out already?!

    • It appears so, really sorry about that. Ordering more for delivery by DHL as we speak.
