Free-to-play games aren't bargains… they are just a different business model. A bargain, in my opinion, would be if a free-to-play game had all the In-Game Purchases half-price.

i don't even consider 'free to play' with any ingame purchases a bargain at all.

in fact, it's misleading to call it free if there are any ingame purchases factor.

    • hmmm… good point. I believed this offer was only available for about 24 hours but if it is a permanent position then that makes sense. Some hidden object games have been advertised on here as bargains previously which some members seemed to find useful.

      • i believe those ones are full games which doesn't have in-game purchases.

      • Phantom, it's true that some people have found previous free-to-play posts useful… and it's good that you posted this to see if anyone did.

It's just my opinion that free-to-play shouldn't be posted on ozbargain as there are hundred's of thousands of them on iTunes, and once again, they aren't charitable bargain… they are money making alternative business models.

I guess if they are on sale, like you thought this one might be, then that's a different story.

  • Maybe there should be free to try and free to play???
