Visit Flickr and you should be offered Pro at no charge for 3 months as a 'holiday gift'. I've never seen Pro given away before and I've been using Flickr for many, many years! There's no need to provide credit card or future payment information, so give it a go! I assume you'll need to have an existing account.

Pro gives you:

Unlimited* uploads (up to 50MB per photo)
Unlimited viewing of your entire photo library

I saw this deal too today. I wonder what would happen to my photos once the free trial expired? Are they going to be deleted or what? Can I see them all or only recent 200?

  Your photos are never deleted, but if you have over 200 and are on the Free package, only the most recent 200 are accessible.

Flickr is the new black! I've been using it again since the instagram kerfuffle. The droid app is very nice, all the i'gram features but with all the good flickr'ness, full res photos, retain photo ownership etc.

  After letting it sit idle for a long time, they're investing time and money in it again. They recently updated apps, and made small tweaks to the website. I dare say more is to come - less restrictions on the Free account would be welcome (200 photos is quite limited by today's standards). Can we thank the new CEO? I think so!

    Funny thing is how popular Flickr has stayed since they just let it sit there. Obviously websites like 500px took some market share and apps like Instagram passed it in the mobile space, but the more improvements the better because they've already got a head start, unlike websites like Myspace who lost all its users and is building from rock bottom.
    
    Thanks OP, I was thinking about upgrading to Pro again soon because I was one of those who hadn't renewed for almost 2 years. At least this will get me started.
